And if that doesn't work he can always switch to tight end. It maybe to late for that switch ! That's a good one LOL . But if push comes to shove it could be and option . Being versatile can only help .

let's hope it is a genuine opportunity for eb and not simply a "fill in role" until they return from injury... The biggest thing he will have to get an opportunity to demonstrate is his "football" speed. They won't see it combine drills. The two guys that got hurt have size and ran a 4.36 and a 4.46 respectively. Bell ran a 4.55. Sometimes you don't get the shot if your measureables don't align with their expectations. Hopefully, he can get on the field. Seattle needs another possession-type of receiver. Bell has the size to fill that role. Let’s pray for the young man and hope he impresses Pete Carroll. Pete would’ve loved Bell at USC back in the day and loves the swag Elijah has, most likely.

No news is probably bad news at this point.

It sucks being a free agent this year. Especially with no CFL or XFL

The Duke game may have been the downfall for EBell!

The Duke game may have been the downfall for EBell! That Duke game had nothing to do with Bells downfall . Bell would have been a project player at best and a slow project player with limited route running skills is not going to get it . Now a project player with exceptional speed with limited route running skills may get a better look . Also Bell was a one dimensional player . Had he returned kicks at Tee that could have made him more attractive to NFL teams .

Hopefully he can get our HC and OC to allow our players to execute more precise and complex route patterns . That not only will prepare them for the season but for the next level also it would be nice to see more speed vertical routes and less of this Jump-Ball you stuff .

We can argue the measurables that the NFL relies on but, I ‘be seen too many players that perform lights out at a pro day or combine but, come time to produce on the field they were not close to being ready. Every time I saw E Bell line up against good to great corners he passed all the tests with exception of Duke. You play at least 44 games in 4 years, have 1 bad game and you cannot even get a shot. Something is wrong with that math if ask me...just saying.

Bell just changed agents a few days ago. He is now with the same agent as Bam and McCain.

I hear ya...but you ought to see the free agents Dallas are signing. They signed 3 or 4 receiver that all have glaring weaknesses from speed to route running to out right dropping passes. I know they all won't make it but, there's room on the practice squad to work on those weaknesess.
