Man, looks like next year we will need to win MEAC outright, especially if we wind up scheduling a DII to open the year.
Non conf victories will be hard to come by

It's very unlikely it will be a DII, no benefit. Charleston Southern comes to us on 9/11/2021, it's unlikely they come in back to back years. It will probably be a home game since the next three look like road games. Here's a few schools without games on 9/5/2020. Tarleton State Texans Georgetown Hoyas James Madison Dukes Delaware Blue Hens All of the Ivies (but it looks like they all play a 10 game season) Georgetown would be the only school I'd contact on that list. We really need a winnable FCS game and Georgetown would be it.

I actually like the aggressive schedule, we are no longer your 0-27 Aggies. This is the 3X defending Celebration Bowl Champions, and should schedule like it. The kids we are getting now love to compete not just hope to get on the field, they want to play against the best.

I like it. We are getting 300K plus for a game in Virginia that is winnable. Our fan base will be able to go and enjoy. NDSU is a 240 payout that fills a hole in the schedule and also a game to see where we stand with the beat team in FCS. All that is missing is a cupcake FCS or D2. We make 540k minimum before Oct 1. And have potential to make the CB bowl for a 5th time

Would love to get a SoCon or another Big South team, but I seriously doubt Gardner-Webb wants any more smoke.
They just fired their head coach and I am sure they are gonna want to ease the new guy into the job.

If Gardner-Webb has the same AD then Hilton already has a working relationship with him/her. Plus we’d put butts in their seats if we could work out a home and home. Money’s any AD’s first consideration at this level. The travel cost for both schools is minimal as well.
