One offer enough for A&T receiver Zach Leslie, who has blossomed with AggiesBy Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com Oct 30, 2018A&T wide receiver Zach Leslie ranks second in the MEAC with seven touchdown catches through eight games. Jay Westcott/News & RecordGREENSBORO — OK, who wants a 6-foot-3 wide receiver who can run, has good hands, a 33½-inch vertical leap and good grades? Apparently no one. Except, of course, N.C. A&T. The Aggies have made a habit of finding overlooked, and under-offered, talent. Tarik Cohen. Brandon Parker. Jeremy Taylor. Elijah Bell. And now, Zach Leslie. “A&T was my only (scholarship) offer,” Leslie says. “When I got that offer, it was a dream come true. I had always dreamed of playing on TV and playing in a championship game. I had never won a championship before, and there’s nothing like that feeling. Nothing.” For the rest of the story: www.greensboro.com/sports/ncat/one-offer-enough-for-a-t-receiver-zach-leslie-who/article_4e44cf74-d86b-5445-9e75-50c6d40e98ef.html

Norfolk State still searching for answers on missing offense as game looms against MEAC favorite N.C. A&T By Ray Nimmo Staff writer Nov 2, 2018
For Norfolk State coach Latrell Scott, work is "the only answer."
Following a third straight offensive no-show, the Spartans have shifted their goals from winning the MEAC to having a winning record, "which hasn't been done around here in a long time," Scott said.
So Scott isn't taking any breaks to reset. The best solution he said he's learned is to work harder...
