Well at least we'll have a quality broadcast for Homecoming. I'm surprised that it's not Howard and FAMU.

Which team will be ready to play? Can Norfolk State forget about the 3 game losing streak? The defense has only allowed 30 points in the first half of the last three games.
Norfolk biggest key to winning is playing well on the special teams.

Do not take these guys lightly and come out ready to play. This is a game we should win and if we have the opportunity try to pad the score a little.

On a side note did not know it was NCCU homecoming. On the plane from Dallas to Raleigh and it’s just as many chickens on the plane as Aggies.
They play Edward Waters 😂 really ?

Five things to know: Norfolk State at N.C. A&T By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com 1 hr ago
GREENSBORO — Homecoming is here, and the stadium will be packed.
General admission tickets for Saturday’s game between No. 17 N.C. A&T (3-1 MEAC, 6-2) and Norfolk State (1-3, 3-4) are sold out, and BB&T Stadium’s official seating capacity of 21,500 will be tested. “There’s nothing like homecoming,” A&T redshirt junior defensive tackle Justin Cates said. “There’s going to be over 20,000 people out there going crazy. But I’m so used to it now, I don’t get distracted.” Cates smiled. “Besides,” he said, “our homecoming, for the players, doesn’t start until Saturday night after the game. The coaches have been instilling that in us for two weeks now. They don’t want us to be distracted. They want us fully locked in and ready to play the game.” It’s a big game for the Aggies, alone in second place in the MEAC standings, one game behind Florida A&M (5-0, 6-2). Five things to know about the matchup with Norfolk State: 1. Defenses first Norfolk State ranks 20th among the nation’s 124 FCS teams in scoring defense, allowing just 21.4 points per game. That’s darn good, but A&T is even better, ranking No. 7 at 14.5 points per game. Bottom line: Points will be precious. But A&T could have the upper hand considering Norfolk State has given up 36 and 32 points the last two games. “We’ve got good players on defense,” Norfolk State coach Latrell Scott said, “and with the exception of this past week, our defense has played well enough for us to win games. … We haven’t had much trouble stopping the run until last week. But I don’t know if anyone really matches up well with A&T.” A&T’s rushing defense ranks No. 4 in the nation, allowing 82.1 yards per game. Norfolk State ranks dead last in the MEAC in rushing offense. Struggling Norfolk State continues Homecoming Tour '18 at GHOE By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com
GREENSBORO — This much is certain: Norfolk State knows a little something about homecomings. The Spartans (1-3 MEAC, 3-4) take on No. 17 N.C. A&T (3-1, 6-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Aggies’ Greatest Homecoming On Earth, the latest stop in Norfolk State’s Homecoming Tour ’18. Norfolk State lost 17-0 at Florida A&M’s homecoming in front of an announced crowd of 26,045. The Spartans lost 32-3 last week at Savannah State’s homecoming. And now comes GHOE. “I don’t know who does the scheduling in the MEAC, man,” Norfolk State coach Latrell Scott says, “but the last three weeks we’ve played a team coming off a bye week, or going into their homecoming, or, this week, both. It’s been a tough schedule for us. … “From what I’ve been told, A&T has got one of the most electric homecomings in the country. We’re looking forward to seeing it. We just played in front of close to 30,000 at Florida A&M, so the crowd and atmosphere shouldn’t be a big deal. … It’s an opportunity for our kids to go down and measure up against one of the best programs in FCS football.” Norfolk State opened this season with three victories in its first four games, thanks in large part to a defense that still ranks No. 20 out of 124 Football Championship Subdivision teams in scoring defense at 21.4 points per game. Versatile linebacker Nigel Chavis leads that group with seven tackles for losses and three sacks. He ranks second among the Spartans with 44 tackles, including 25 solos. He also has two fumble recoveries and three pass break-ups. But the Spartans have since lost three games in a row, and they’ve been outscored 85-9 in those losses.
