Wow never heard of this incident That's the problem...it is a hidden national racial tragedy, much like Rosewood was until they made a major movie about it. Florida tried to keep Rosewood under wraps until it finally rose into the national consciousness. South Carolina is pretty much trying to do the same thing with the Orangeburg Massacre.

Why not find information on Dr. Cleveland Sellers, who lived in Greensboro for a few years and worked at A&T. He was a Shaw University grad and received a Doctorate from UNCG, and he also studied at Harvard. He and others organized the protest in Orangeburg. He was convicted of rioting there and served time. Read about him. If you watch CNN during the evenings, his son is a contributor to some of the political discussions and is a former South Carolina legislator.
