This game can be very emotional for Norfolk for obvious reason but also this is there last home game for the seniors.
We need to score and score fast not leaving them any hope that they can win this game.
Typically Broadway teams have very little problem with Norfolk but given the climate we really need to be focus coming into the game.
I am glad this is coming off of a break!!!

I would have similar concerns....if we had a coach other than Broadway. I expect NSU to play with emotion, there may even be some early fireworks, but I expect our talent and preparation to take over eventually.

Check the box score....Norfolk was up on Savannah 6-0, heading into the 2nd qtr. From the 2nd qtr onwards, Savannah walked the dog with them. That doesn't sound like a team that came out flat....that sounds like a team that just got handled over a full 60 minutes.
I see a landslide victory this weekend.....

I have a lot of concern about the NSU game. IMO, to not be concern about an upcoming game OR an actual game is foolishness.

- They will come out flat and listless and get blown out;
- They will come out fired-up and play over-their-heads;
But to have no concern would be foolish, as you said.

Emotional play tends to burn more energy and seldom last an entire game. Unless they channel it well, they'll be slower in the second half. With a week of rest, we're ready to play 60 minutes again. Aggies in a solid win.

We've had a week off to rest, heal and prepare for this game...Norfolk has had a week to grieve and try to move forward. But even before this tragic event, Norfolk was a bad football team. So unless we just come out and lay an egg, we should be able to run, pass and score on these guys. I'm worried but I'd worry if we were playing Dudley High School this weekend...I feel sure we can win.

Norfolk defense is some ish. We will score at will. We have to much talent and speed. If we don't turn the ball over we win big.

I hope that we play a clean game, and overcome them. ( This team DID beat NCCU in Durham)

The team of NCCU or the team of Savannah St. I just know this being the last home game and all whats going on I will not be surprise if the score is close in the 1st half. Then our talent will take over in the 2nd we hope

look, i wouldn't read too much into norfolk's upset of the buzzards because if you look at the stats (other than the final score), the buzzards "dominated" norfolk in almost all statistical categories except the "score" and "turnovers".
first downs => buzzards 31, norfolk 15 net rushing => buzzards 161, norfolk 48 net passing => buzzards 340. norfolk 230 total offense => buzzards 501, norfolk 278 turnovers => buzzards 3, norfolk 0
"turnovers" is what killed the buzzards against norfolk. its not like norfolk just took it to the buzzards and controlled the line of scrimmage. but we still have to be "focused" and not take norfolk lightly...

It was actually 5 TOs. Fumbles lost usually don't show up on FCS stat sheets online. NCCU had 2 in that game.
