sounds good....for me personally HBCU National title is just not good enough We haven't won anything yet. MEAC title outright first.

I don't know why being ranked in the FCS poll is important? Its Atlanta or bust at this point.

I've come to terms with the celebration bowl. Winning it is an actual attainable goal for this team. Making and winning the celebration bowl, while far from a given, is a much more realistic goal than making the playoffs and winning a game there.
I'm not concerned about ranking.

Its not about being concerned about the ranking but I bet you a $1 you check to see if we are ranked!

I sit in reserves on 50 on vistors side. Once that celebration bowl thing was confirmed , I have lost all interest in FCS other than the MEAC and SWAC. I just don't see the point now. Its not likely a MEAC school gets an at-large so I'm only looking at the potential matchup for the Bowl game

Its good marketing for the program. thank you! at least one person (other than me) understands what "branding" means and that we market ourselves to a much bigger community than solely the black community...

The Celebration Bowl was advertised at the Georgia Dome this Sunday during the Falcons - Redskins game. There were a whole lot of people not in the black community there.

Which FCS playoff game or championship have you seen a commercial for? I think if it's about branding, an NFL game advertising your conference and its teams is greater than the "exposure" from a playoff game.
Or are you saying the white community won't support two HBCUs, but they will support an HBCU getting blown out by a PWC in the first round?

True Football loving fans regardless of color will attend a football game as long as it's a good game! The product on the field will determine the longevity of this game / bowl in the coming years! I have partners that graduated from the University of Houston they are football nuts and will attend a PVA&M game or Texas Southern game as long as the University of Houston is not in town! they just love football, They love exciting great football !!! If we make it out of the MEAC to the celebration bowl, A&T should see a step up an advertisement of the University!

I'm pretty confident we will see some celebration bowl ads in Aggie stadium for the remaining home games, if we get past BCU
