It still amazes me that we have all this talk about being undisputed MEAC Champions, but yet on the other hand some or still talking this FCS playoff Crap lol !!!! What or you guys thinking I would not want to be the 2nd place team in a playoff, when I can be the out right Champion of my conference . Come on now Bag that FCS playoff crap ! But if your really looking for a playoff game ,Try focusing on the MEAC playoffs that we are in right now this may satisfy your playoff game fever.! But it would not mean a thing if we do not win the MEAC championship outright .! Win the MEAC first and then the celebration bowl , and I will be the first to sit down and wonder with you how A&T possibly could have done in the FCS playoffs.!

The situation "is what it is" and we all have our preferences. Hey, even our AD has said he doesn't support the CB concept. Anyways, I'll be happy if we finish in first place but I'd be even happier if we finished in a tie at 10-1 and got a #2 seed. First things first and that's NSU.

Let's break this down:
From 2011-13, our football program was only able to generate $175K that I know of in revenue outside of home gates... the App St. guarantee game in 2013. I don't think we got anything for the 2011 App game because they were still FCS at the time.... plus minimal net revenue from the Atlanta Classics and the Orlando Classic in 2014.
We have the opportunity over the next two seasons to generate $2 million in revenue... $1 million in guarantee games and $1 million if we win back-to-back MEAC championships. That would be huge for A&T athletics and huge for football.
Then in 2017... We have a mature Lamar Raynard at QB, a much more mature OL, and a very mature defense... along with more money in my pocket... and a better idea of whether or not we reside in a conference that allows us to compete for the playoffs.
It's strategic planning for 2017, IMO...

How much $$$ would you be counting with a celebration bowl trip? If it's $10 it's more than we'd make from the playoffs and more exposure...

I careless about the FCS playoffs, If you can not win the MEAC what Cognitive Reasoning can you have for being in the FCS playoff's ? It's surely not Financial or for Exposure ? Because A&T has National Exposure and Financially A&T is doing Okay, not great but OK ! Win the MEAC and the Bowl get the rings and give the players something that they can Cherish for the rest of their life by going down in history as the First Official National HBCU Champions that was won on the field and not in the Press !

Well, these polls are always POLITICAL, so we shall see. Also, we were TIED for that #26 slot last Monday. Don't be shocked if the other team gets it. (Did anyone else in the poll lose? I know that Liberty lost today, but I don't remember if they were ranked.)

FCS Top 25 losers yesterday:
#10 NORTHERN IOWA
#12 MONTANA
#15 LIBERTY
#19 INDIANA ST.
#23 NORTH DAKOTA
I for one wouldn't mind a HBCU national title, a big bowl game payday, and a Top 25 ranking by season's end when its all said and done. Those are all goals that are certainly achievable.

Well as long as we are members of the MEAC and it remains committed to the Celebration Bowl, we really don't have many if any options when it comes to post season play. It is what it is and so we'll need to take full advantage of what is right in front of us.
