okay, folks. i just checked the stats. who came up with hampton gaining 600 yards of offense against us? hail, i was just about to run with that stat until i decided to check myself. come to find out that hampton had 431 yards of total offense which is still an awful lot, but far less than 600 yards.
perhaps the person who came up with that stat was just being "facetious"...

1969 came up with that made up exaggerated stat of 600 yards. well, to be honest, it ain't like it wasn't believeable. i saw the game over the internet and 600 yards of offense was believeable to me, that's how bad it was in my opinion...

Our team played opportunistic football yesterday although the offense was not clicking on all cyclinders...special teams gave the offense short fields to work with and they scored in most instances. Speed kills and we had more than enough of it yesterday....
We won the football game and now is the time to turn our attention to Norfolk State....let's move on!
I can guarantee that the offense will get going one of these weeks and the conversation will subside....
If you look at the final score, we had another chance to score a touchdown at the end but took a knee....classy move!
A couple of years ago, we couldn't close out these type of games but this year we are....that is a "big" improvement!

I remember a few a years ago that we could not stop a team's last drive. We are better at that. Its early in the season. We got over the Hampton hump yesterday. Coach knows that 'we have got to get better'.

It is known that the offensive line has a lot of problems, and is not as talented or strong!

There are three phases off def and special teams and each week one has played better than the other two and the offense not playing up to their standards but the bottom line is that we are were we all said we be at this point so let's sit back and relax til next Saturday at Norfolk and just imagine what this term will look like when the offence get rolling It was a ugly win but a win is a win just ask Ohio State you think they are crying today I think not because it one more down to reach our goal and we have to have that attitude one down and Norfolk next plus we have two road games in our rear mirror All the Aggie that can make the game show up and give support and the rest like me get ready to watch your Aggie take care of business AGGIE PRIDE

1969 came up with that made up exaggerated stat of 600 yards. Guilty as charged. Hey I goofed...I scanned the game stats on my cell phone and must have misread the numbers. Thanks for fact checking me. I'll try to do better next time

No one talked about the poor performance of quick. The question is who will start next week Quick had at least four opportunities to be the hero yesterday and did not execute. 1. Fumble 2. Over throw for first down 3. Keeper 4. Bad throw for TD With limited minutes, those plays were critical for him to demonstrate his value and he didn't. As for who starts, it just gives Norfolk something to think about.

I don't care what anybody says, Quick's knee has not healed!

I don't care what anybody says, Quick's knee has not healed! I agree. At Elon he looked like he was running in lead boots. He's never been an accurate passer but you could always count on his quickness to gain yardage. I think he's struggling with that injury.

I don't care what anybody says, Quick's knee has not healed! I would have to agree with you on that. Quick is a running QB that is a straight up runner, he has yet to learn how to protect himself by getting behind his pads and using pad level and lean on his runs in traffic or just learning to slide.Your right Quick is not fully healed and he will be lucky to make it to the end of the season if he dose not learn how to protect himself when he runs !
