Our hardest remaining games will be NSU, SCSU then BCU and NCCU. The rest of the games will not be close pending any injury issues. This MEAC season will be a challenge but we can handle it. Don't even THINK about anyone else but Hampton, WCA!!!!Indeed. Hampton is our toughest remaining game because it is the next game. Did anyone other than me notice that Bethune-Cookman was penalized 23 times for 212 total yards this past Saturday...against Savannah State?!

I bet it important to get on the scoreboard early. This game could be stopped in the 3rd or 4 quarter due to bad weather.

i'm at home looking at the "replay" of the hampton at howard game so that i can scout hampton's offense. the first thing that jumped out at me was on hampton's "opening drive" against howard (which resulted into a td), hampton passed the ball about 5 times (first play of the game was a 50 yard incomplete "bomb"!) and ran it maybe twice during the "opening drive". but what was really "important", is that all five of hampton's first passes were "play action" passes. no straight drop backs, always "play action". maynor freezes the lb's with play action and then goes over the top.
now i'm gonna checkout hampton's second drive...

Man it's really starting to feel like football season. We got a big game Saturday, the weather is getting funkier and I'm getting pre-game jitters. Unfortunately I can't attend the Zip Hampton game but I plan to try to catch it on the Internet. Any suggestions?

Hampton U. Is a very rounded team, They are blessed to have a few RB's so they can rotate them to keep them fresh. they base everything off Play action so to Q on the LB's actions . The QB key's off the LB's a lot . The young man has a great command of there Offensive Weapons. I feel that if we play them Straight up and let the D-line do there thing but if we Blitz a lot that QB will pick us apart! He trusts his receivers and never targets just one guy ! I fear that Hampton maybe the team to beat in the MEAC this year, and should not be over looked !!! Olso They will move there TE into the slot a lot in order to try to catch the LB's sleeping ! OVER LOOK NO ONE !!!!!!!!!

.....just checking the weather; they're talking like 10+ inches of rain will fall over the weekend. 10+ inches of rain is dangerous, especially in an already low-level area as the Tidewater....
1) How many Aggies are rolling to the game? 2) Is there any chance this game way get postponed?
I was gonna go. I still may...rain doesn't phase me, but flooding does.

I checked Hampton website game will be video broadcast for $10 $10!!! Man, sometimes I think schools raise the price of their stuff when they play A&T because they know we follow our teams more than any other school in the MEAC. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but it sure feels like that. I do see that the other games are listed at $10 as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they all drop to $6 after this week. Other Random thoughtsI wonder if it would be profitable to start a MEAC sports network strictly online and charge a yearly/monthly subscription to it? I was bored and tried to google some Hampton message boards(like this board) to see if I could get their take on what's going on up there. I found a board where basically just ONE GUY post to and no one every replies, LOL. That is sad! Finding something like that makes my first random thought a bad idea, LOL.

Based on the weather man, that tropical storm off the Cuban coast is heading for the Hampton ball game. Now if it does rain as much as they are calling for, that should make running the ball rather than passing more important. And if both teams are forced to run not pass, I like our chances even more. Our run defense is strong and Quick and Cohen on a muddy field could be lethal. On the other hand, if Hampton's QB can still pass the ball, our DB's are going to be at a disadvantage. By the way, does Hampton have artificial turf? Man, so many things to worry about...I need a drink!
