How far off is he from the becoming the all-time leading rusher at A&T? if i'm not mistaken, i believe mike mayhew is our all time leading rusher. so if we substract cohen's total rushing yards over the last two seasons from mayhew's all time rushing yards, that should give us the answer to your question...

You asked about what is the A&T career rushing record owned by Mike Mayhew? It's 4,282 yards. Right now Cohen is more than halfway there in overtaking him with 2,477 yards after his first two seasons with two more years to go. He needs exactly 1806 yards to own the all-time title.

How far off is he from the becoming the all-time leading rusher at A&T? welp gator, you done got me curious enough to check the stats. according to the stats i pulled from the aggie athletics website, cohen should break the all time rushing record “this season” if he stays healthy. based on my calculations, cohen is only 1,033 yards away from the a&t all time rushing record! here are the numbers that i pulled; mike mayhew rushing yards per season’12 – 848 yards ’11 - 1120 yards ’10 - 1082 yards ’09 - 471 yards mike mayhew’s all time rushing yards => 3521tarik cohen rushing yards per season’14 – 1340 ’13 – 1148 tarik cohen’s all time rushing yards (only 2 seasons) => 2488tarik cohen yards from breaking all time record => 1033

He ran for 848 as a freshman, 1082 as a soph, 1203 as a junior, and 1149 as a senior. He's the only A&T back to ever have three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. My source was the old A&T press guides (always subject to be wrong).
Hey either way, whatever the official numbers are, that record will ultimately fall to Cohen. If anything he will destroy the mark as long has he stays relatively healthy over the next couple of seasons.
