Yes; that open game should be a DII team we can beat and get some good practice in also.

As long a strength of schedule doesn't matter anymore I'm going to keep beating the WSSU drum. Do they have a game 9/5 already? If they are not available find another CIAA school. Fayetteville state would be my next choice since they wanted to imitate GHOE and all. Give them a good beatdown for it for real and not just on Twitter, LOL

Would you want the first game on Thursday or Saturday? A lot of students will not be on campus and some alumni have other trips planned. I see more and more schools playing on Thursday before Labor Day

heck, now that we're locked out of the playoffs, i'd be willing to consider playing wssu at a nuetral site during labor day weekend like we used to do with nccu. aggie stadium isn't big enough for a labor day weekend game against wssu. any other time of the season aggie stadium would be fine, but not labor day weekend. heck, i'd even "consider" playing wssu at wake forest's stadium provided its treated as a home game for us (meaning we get the majority of the profits)...

I gotta disagree with you, OSA. For me, as long as they are still in Division II and we are still in Division I/FCS, it's gotta be IN AGGIE STADIUM or NO DEAL.

I gotta disagree with you, OSA. For me, as long as they are still in Division II and we are still in Division I/FCS, it's gotta be IN AGGIE STADIUM or NO DEAL. heck, that’s why i quoted the word “consider” and that it must be delegated our home game even though its in winston salem. in other words, i’d have to think about it first. but the idea being that wake forest’s stadium seats 10k more fans than ours does (31.5k), plus there’s also seating behind the endzones which means we could probably pack up to 40k folks in there. i’m thinking that we’d control the profits and make a lot more money than playing at aggie stadium. that’s the only reason i’d “consider” playing wssu at wake’s stadium but for labor day weekend only. otherwise, all the other options (besides aggie stadium) would be “at least” 50 miles or more away. but its just a thought. considering what we drew playing nccu during labor day weekend in raleigh, i’m thinking aggie stadium wouldn’t be big enough. again, my thoughts are only regarding “labor day weekend”. any other date, playing at aggie stadium is mandatory in my eyes...
