Would you like to see A&T play eleven or twelve games this year in football? I see that Norfolk and SCSU are playing twelve games while Hampton and FAMU are playing eleven right now. The more games the more better for me but it could be nice to have two open dates for the players.

We have enough trouble with 11 game schedules. Even if we had that 12 game at home, we could end up losing money if the team go winless again and the fans stop showing up. I still cringe at the thought of how dismal the attendance was at that Elon game in 2006.

It's actually quite simple. The NCAA now allows FCS teams (1-AA) to play 12 games every four years beginning this year, so we now have a extra home date, seven at home, five on the road. Next year it goes back to five at home and six on the road and then it flip flops back to 6-5 in 2010 and will alternate each year until 2012 when 12 dates open back up again.
