I love the way the Machine honors and exalts Golden Delight.
In a day when black woman are repeatedly disrespected in our society and assailed with various forms of misogyny, Dr. Ruff and the Machine staff have made the decision that they are gonna present young black females in the best light possible. Beautiful, sexy, strong, talented, intelligent and extremely capable.
They are not just a warm-up act; they are the headliners.
When GD steps into a venue you have no choice but to acknowledge their greatness and afford them the utmost respect. They command it.
