According to Fobbs last night, all the players are currently participating in a rigorous, early morning off-season strength and conditioning program that the coaches have named "Blue Dawn".
I'm sorry, but that has got to be one of the greatest names for a work-out schedule ever. Blue Dawn.
That kinda reminds me of that 80s action movie where those teenagers where fighting the Russian army at the start of World War III. Jed (Patrick Swayze) was kicking much Commie a$$ in that movie.

Mandatory weight training. I have preached this mantra for at least ten years till I was blue in the face which is real hard for me to do.
I was antonished when he said Long and Russell are now pushing almost 250 lbs. apiece as MLBs. Now that we have stopped the revolving door of personnel within the athletic department, getting and holding on to a good strength coach like Warthorn should pay dividends this fall.

If they are working just as hard in these workouts as the coaches did on the recruiting trail then we will be in good shape. Especially with a new OC.

So what do we need to name the coaching experiment with our staff the last couple of years....
1. Maurauders of the Lost Art (k)! 2. Lost in Space! 3. Debby does A&T!
This is all good for the players but I would to see our coaches in some similar training for decision making, making adjustments and learning how to use your personnel. That is sorely lacking and will continue to haunt us if our staff is not properly exposed to such experiences..... 2.

If we had one last year we may have won 3-4 games.

I dont know if Long & Russell weighing 250 at this point is a good thing. Once they go home for a ffew weeks and eat good during the summer, that 250 will turn into 260 real easy,
-All of this conditioning is good and dandy, but if it is not maintained and built upon during the summer months leading up to camp, its all for naught..

Since the people want to hear from me, I cannot deny them. I will do a little research, get in contact with some of my sources that you all so love, and have something for you later on tonight.
-You cant lead the people if you dont love the people.. The movement continues.
