Tommorrow, and in the coming weeks of signees, what would you like to see addressed... My personal take is that Fobbs and Co. need to move away from looking to use the majority of their scholarships on JUCO guys that dont pan out. We had numerous juco guys the last couple of years and still never came out with a win. We are now faced with having to develop and plug in younger players who never ever saw the field. Sagote/Ware/Williams are out at OLine, and I feel that we are back at square 1. Ferg is a targeted man going into this season, and having an unexperienced OLIne will not help his cause. For the future of the programs sake, i hope the coaches find some talented high school kids that may have fallen through the cracks, and that will be here for 4 years to come. WR - No one to pass to .. No legit # 1 ... Teams will put all 65 players in the box OL - Need two tackles, and a guard ...Herbie will be running for his life DL - LB- Need to replace Hemphill...Hard to play LB with a DL like we will have.. DB (corners) - ...Again Ineligible Players / Attrition-- Dont hold your breath expecting everyone to be back in the fall of 08' --------------------------------------------------------------------- FYI for Fobbs : IF a kid comes across a timeline to Greensboro, played JUCO ball and still lands at A&T in the state that the program is in .. Look yourself in the mirror and ask will he be a difference maker and is it worth the out of state investment .. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Give me a bag of skins, bag of boiled peanuts and a Mountain Dew, and a tank of gas, and ill find you 20 kids in the state of NC that can compete and play football. --Your royalness has spoken !

Ware was out last year (Ineligible) and J. Williams was just a JR last year. We are only losing Sagote and Chad Wiley if I am correct. Anyway Enoch Got to start the last Three games of the season and so the O-line should be fine with Valmont Redshirting.
All three kids from Itawomba Junior College were Ineligible last year and are still in school working on grades. CB/Wr JJ Yates, OL Desmoine Ware and WR Garth.

OK, Itawomba should be off limits. It seems they aren't doing their part to prepare kids for a four year college.
After 0-22, the tolerance for excuses or even valid reasons is gone. Time for results. Past time really, but I think this is it.

Born, I wish I could be there to fellowship over some wings with yall, but unfortunatley wont be able to make it..
KrazyKev..All 3 players from Itawomba were ineligible as was the DB from there T.Braxton from the 2006 team. 4 Players in 2 years ? THats ridiculous and unacceptable.
Wiley Bess, & Carter have another year....Sagote, Ware = gone ..Williams = gone .. 3 from Itwamba = gone

For what it's worth. Ware, Garth and Yates are all working out with the team. Heard that Ware and Garth are on track in the classroom and expected to be on the field in the fall. Yates needs to pass something like 25 hours in order to be eligible so we'll see about that.

Please say that was 2 semesters plus summer school ago. Damn, what these kids be thinking about? Where are they damn parents? Jeeeez!

He can take 18 hours this fall and 7 hours over the two summer school sessions.
Its possible. I took 22 hours my last semester at 'T so that I could finally graduate.
However, I am one of the five or six smartest people of the planet. I am not sure Yates can pull the same thing off.

He could actually knock out 14 hours over the summer (seven in each session). Then he'd only need 11. That being said, he shouldn't be in that position in the first place. You ain't going pro; what the hell are you going to show prospective employers and graduate programs? Get it together before it's too late.

I took 21 hours to graduate my last semester while working full time at night, but like Thrilla I consider myself in the top 5% in intelligence, LOL. If hes taking 16 right now and hopefully he is, that still leave 9. Thats 3 summer school classes. Thats not easy. If he drops one class he is done. I'm with Dooms, get it together son. Start thinking about life and not just football.
