This past weekend I started my annual gift givings to A&T and to my surprise I learned my company matches my gift.
So please when (and I didn't say if) you make out your annual gift, please check your employee website to see if your company will match.
As an incentive, I hear that company match can be deducted from the individual employee IRS return also. Can someone confirm that also?
As a final step, I will contact the many A&T grads here at our company and encourgae them to contribute this year!
We actually have a blog for A&T grads to talk informally.
My gift will go to the AAF and the company match goes to the A&T educational fund….which is fine with me!
Please encourgae our folks to give more this year!

Thats great! Encouraging more alumni and friends to become donors is needed in this fiscal climate.
While you're planning your annual giving, please consider supporting the Alumni Association's Operations since we like the AAF are back into the fundraising business to support our operations.

Since we're talking "fundraising" here's a simple suggestion...set up a monthly deduction. Most alumni try to wait until they have some extra cash saved up and then make a contribution. I've found it is easier to arrange for A &T to make a monthly deduction. They will deduct from your bank account or charge a selected charge. If more Aggies gave this way we would be in much better financial shape.

Its pretty easy. Just go to the AAF website and create your personal account. You then designate at what level you wish to give and the amount to be deducted and designate a bank draft or credit card and what date you want the amount deducted each month. Authorize it and forget about it for the rest of the year then just re-up your donation each year starting in January.

Tell me how and I'm sure I can contribute a dollar or two…. AggieGroove You can donate online via the Give Now link on the website or if you have your login for Aggie Access you can make your gift there. When online you just want to make sure you designate: Alumni Association Operations, or whatever designation you want to give. This also includes the Aggie Athletic Foundation gifts too. You can also make your gift by mail, submitting this form: A&T Giving Formand indicating your designations. Lastly, you can give over the phone by calling 336-334-7600.
