Man you got to be kidding. I was just saying those refs are so bad. For you to tell me they are ours. Man I ashame to represent the MEAC. Even that Head Refs looks very unimpressive. How can you review a TD play and the stupid ref (not the line judge) never made a definitive call to base the reversal on. They look like they did not have a clue. Thank God for instance replay or Deleware would not have had 7 points going into the half.

That was a little embarrasing. They were too involved in the game. Good thing it was a blow out.

Same probelm as they have always had . They spend too much time watching the game like a spectator in the stands and less time watching the ation on the field.

They were more embarassing than a college graduate misspelling two syllable words and trying to play it off. They looked so befuddled out there.
They stretched the game out so long I couldn't even record all of it because it went over the time specified on the tivo. I didn't get the last 10 minutes of the game! And by 10 minutes, I mean the last 10 minutes on the game clock 10 minutes.
I think this will be the last time we see rotating refs for championship games. It's a shame that might happen considering it's refs from our conference that would be the cause.

when the NFL guy was meac supt. of officials... the officiating had improved a lot... now... it's terrible... these guys the other night were horrible... the official who called those 2 pass interference calls... the first where the DB & WR had their hands on each other in the end zone but neither one gained an advantage... clear no call... & the other against del. when the pass was high & behind the receiver... uncatchable pass.... makes you wonder what these guys actually do see...
now the whole world got to see what meac coaches & fans have been complaining about... as sorry as meac officials are... you need instant replay every time they throw a flag just to see if a foul was committed... because 99% of the time there was no foul... these guys are just flag happy... they think they are bigger than the game... & i didn't pay hard earned money to watch refs screw up a good game...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the biggest problem with hbcu officials as a whole is... they don't call what actually happened... they call what they perceived happened... which are entirely two diffrent things...
i always thought the refs in basketball were horrible... but they were great in the 07 meac tournament... i couldn't believe these were the same refs... if they call the regular season games like they did in the tournament... there should be some fantastic games... just swallow your whistles like you did in the tournament... & no more phantom calls... the regular season should be great........

Fans in every conference complain about their refs. Thats just the way fans are, especially when the call goes against their team. Sure, there were some questionable calls during the game but overall it was about like most games. It did not help that the announcers kept criticizing every call they made. One time during the game they did call the U. Delaware Delaware St., that was funny. The News and Record also printed the headline in Sundays paper Delaware St.. I bet App. St. did not have a problem with their calls. Anyway, their bad calls did not affect the outcome of the game.

They didn't, other than the length. It was a good half-hour longer than it should have been. Them announcers tried to be fair at first, but then it just got out of hand. Remember they are the ones that have to sit there and think of crap to say while the officials are reconsidering every call.
