Playing schools like J.C. Smith is cool unless they wipe our butt. I don't even want to think about how that would play out.

I thought the MEAC had a rule about playing Div 2 schools now

I'm pretty sure the rule is no more than 1. Norfolk plays Virginia State every year, so I know you can play at least one.

The rule is that we can't play more than one D2 school in the same season.

I say we play both. We need as many "winnable" games as possible on the schedule. Also, any North Carolina Division 2 HBCU is going to be a nicely attended game. All of their fans are going to be there, especially since they have a good shot at getting a win, as well.

Why can't we just get savannah state to open with Like we're the only team trying to schedule them or something. Everybody wants SSU for their opener and their homecoming. If they're smart (and admittedly, they ain't) they are holding out for high bids for all that if their schedule isn't set.

I just hope that D2 school doesn't wax on, wax off on us, like Daniel-san!

JC Smith would probably beat us. Brick has been bringing in some decent transfers. l

I do hope we don't change offensive systems. I takes a long time for a kid to grasp a system all together. The familiar the qb is with the system, the better off we'll be.

Why would you want to stand pat with the offensive system we have utilized for the past 2 seasons? Its not like we have had a great deal of success with it.
I think we need to change the entire offense - blocking schemes, reciever patterns, everything.

Why would you change schemes when it works when properly executed? You had a 1000+ yard rusher with this. The destruction came poor qb play, and lineman not consistently winning the battle in the trenches.
The focus should be strengthing the defense

Any in-state HBCU DII team that A&T will schedule will spend half the summer scheming for A&T. This spells another big headache for Foobs.
