Making around $90k in an underfunded program with a micro-managing Chancellor and a fanbase who didn't realize how good they had it.
Fired after a 3-8 season filled with close loses and a young team
Hired by his alma mater to become the AD and oversees the building of the football program to become Black National Champions.
Fringe benefit(as NCCU climbed, NCA&T dropped)
Hired by FAMU to become their AD at $175k a year (almost double what he made as our head coach) in a state income tax free state.
Fringe benefit (over the athletic department of his long time rival Billy Joe, who made overtures about the job)
