I got a text message today that said that former Aggie great William "June" Harris passed away on yesterday. Hopefully, that is not true...but does anyone have any information on this???

YES AR, This is true... I was told this also Sorry I wasn't given any details other than he was found in his apartment

June was a great friend of mine. He was one of the best basketball players ever to suit up at A&T. He was also a great person. I will be praying for his family and have them in my thoughts.

June was one of the best players to come out of Durham and A&T. Man, I sure hate to hear this sad news about a good friend.

William “June” Harris is the first two-time All-MEAC selection in Aggies history. In 1973 Warren Reynolds took over for Cal Irvin and the beat kept going. Reynolds behind the strong leadership of William “June” Harris, won their second straight MEAC Tournament. Harris was named the tournament’s most valuable player as the Aggies defeated Howard 86-81.
