Aggie2ru, you pose a valid question about a vertical passing. As you know, any passing game has to begin with the O-line. I think our line is okay but, at our level (MEAC) , we tend to struggle with blitz pick-up and defensive line stunts. But, if we can block the opposing front 7, then I'm thinking we should be fine with decent qb play. But, you are also right in that the news has been coming a little slower than usual this year about camp...but, I think its by design. They want us at the games to support that's why they aten't saying much.

I noticed that running back Larmac Watlington (5-11,190) from Dudley HS has been recently added to our current roster. Watlington was MVP in last year's State Championship game against Scotland Co. I knew he was coming to A&T but I had assumed he would be a academic red shirt. I assumed wrong.
He indeed represents a very solid pickup for future seasons and puts us over the top talent wise in our backfield for some years to come.

I was told that he has looked good in practice. I may have seen him in practice and just did not know it was him. They have several new RB's in camp. He was a very good RB at Dudley. He is very physical and runs hard.

wow, if ever there is an hbcu that should be known as "running back u", it definitely should be a&t! i mean, even when we were on a 27 game losing streak, we still produced 1,000 yard rushers...
