I'm imagining Desmond Lawrence, Xavier Griffin and Denzel Keyes at WR with this QB in our conference.... and my smile just got bigger.... [/quote] Don't forget Darren Bullock the best WR on the team. No matter who the QB is, he will have a stable of receivers (WRs & TEs).

Bullock... he's the best possession WR on the team. But to be competitive at FCS-playoff level, we'll have to have a competent downfied passing game. Bullock will be that much better when the other 3 I mentioned are unleashed with a consistent QB.

how ya'll gonna leave out "jo jo" spann? he's the real deal too! and mike weaver ain't too shabby either (if he can hold onto clutch passes a little better). bottom line? we're pretty set at the skill positions, plenty of weapons. now let's make sure our o-line is top notch and that we have good depth at every position.
i'm sure coach broadway can't wait for spring practice to begin...

Hoke's Darden commits to N.C. A&T Posted: Saturday, February 1, 2014 12:03 am | Updated: 9:16 am, Sat Feb 1, 2014. By Sammy Batten Staff writer
Hoke County's top tackler and rusher will be taking his talents to N.C. A&T next fall. Running back-linebacker Jamal Darden has made a verbal commitment to the Aggies, according to Bucks coach Milton Butts. The 5-foot-10, 210-pounder is a three-year varsity starter who led Hoke in rushing with 495 yards last season and was also first with 92 tackles. N.C. A&T is a Football Championship Subdivision program that competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Aggies have recruited Darden to play defensive back. Any word on Southern Durham offensive tackle, Noah Chase? I think it's down to ECU and us.

He may not either, Jones notwithstanding. Bank it - NCCU will struggle this fall.
