There was only one timeout left at that time. The board was incorrect. Plus the clock starts as soon as the chain crew gets off the feild, not when the ball snaps. Thats why the ball was spiked. That gave you three plays to get it in and preserves your last timeout to be used during those downs. Thanks 4X, i needed that explanation too, I had the same questions as aggielove had.

That two minute offense on the last drive was a thing of beauty. I don't know what Miller saw in the endzone on that last pass but the only thing I could see from the stands were white jerseys.
BTW: I can't believe we actually made two field goals in this game. This team is definitely coming around and getting better. Last night the special teams performed great, the defense came up big when it had to and the offense, at times, dominated.
The loss was indeed heartbreaking, but when I woke up this morning I felt better about the program than I have at any time during the last four years.

I thought I was looking at an Elway drive. Do you realize we had 400 yards of total offense? 400 yards. Ferguson had another 100-yd game. Morgan started the game 13-13 passing, we kicked two field goals, blocked a punt... .... but we lost, dammit.

We absolutely drug Central's defense in the second half and our defense was equally impressive. 199 yds for Central in total offense is a pretty stellar effort to me...next phase is now learning how to win for both the players and coaches...but it's coming ;D

(I am a fobbs hater)
I am too but this is what makes me mad!!!!!!!!! The players did not lose the game, the players left everything on the field...... We have talent at multiple positions... After this game I'm 1000% sure it's the COACHING..... Their was NO reason why we should not have ran the ball inside the 20 yard line at the end of the game!!!!!
