Former Student Government Association president and North Carolina A&T alum Terrence Jenkins has landed his first starring role in the Will Packer-produced, Tim Story-directed feature film, “Think Like A Man.” Jenkins and Packer visited N.C. A&T campus to promote the movie and to offer campus community members an opportunity to screen the movie a week in advance. Read More:campusweb.ncat.edu/publications/alumni/2012/apr19/terrence.html

There is zero chance I would pay even Monopoly money to see that movie ... but I'm very proud of the way this fellow Aggie has built his career in the entertainment industry.
He could be the next big star.

Nothing against Terrance, but I'm not seeing this movie. I wish he stayed doing diversity work at NASCAR.

Ready for cable in about month from what I saw of the trailer. Even the preview is pretty bad.
But give the kid his due, he's cutting his teeth by getting a starring role in the tough business of motion pictures. That isn't even easy any more for even some of the better known veteran minority names and faces in Hollywood. I wish him much success.

They did a piece on it on NPR. It's actually getting pretty good reviews. While I originally figured this wasn't my type of movie, I'll probably give it a chance.

You cynics kill me. I have never seen such self absorbed ignorance as has been recently showcased in these recent forums. As our Alumni prosper, so does the reputation of our institution. Some of you crabs just care about showing off your success at homecoming. Im glad the success of our alumni is not predicated by the support of our alumni. (I understand that a few selfish aggies doesn't mean we all are, but there is a growing negative trend. No I am not a relative or close friend of Jenkins, I just see our profile improving and our alums sluggish acceptance) 'Think Like a Man' halts the 'Hunger Games' train with $33 mil www.cnn.com/2012/04/23/showbiz/movies/think-like-man-wins-box-office-ew/index.html?hpt=hp_c2

09, I think everyone gave TJ props, they just don't want to see the movie. Just because T.J. is an Aggie does not mean that every Aggie will want to see or like the movie. Clam down bro. What did you call them, crabs? I would not refer to some alums as crabs, but maybe to something they got while attending A&T ;D. "Itching for a Scratch"!!!

Big Boy i feel you. If nobody went to see think like a man it should have been the Aggies. It doesnt matter if it sucked we need to support our own.

Big Boy i feel you. If nobody went to see think like a man it should have been the Aggies. It doesnt matter if it sucked we need to support our own. I guess those days are over. How much "sucken" can be going on? I don't see movies until they get to cable if then, but "Think Like A Man" is still the NUMBER ONE movie in the nation right now. Apparently the movie appeals to a huge number of folks. Must be somewhat entertaining to remain at number one for 4-5 weeks. However, I don't think that it should be supported simply because it has an AGGIE playing a role. Support it or go see it, if it's a good movie. The young man is fortunate that large numbers of people like the movie and that's a good thing for him. I saw him in a movie on cable recently titled "The Heart Special". He played a doctor.
