I thought Belcher was supposed to be the real deal at QB. With him just finishing up his redshirt, the staff may feel it's better to get Quick on the field as a DB and allow Belcher to compete with Kindle. Real deal are not, Belcher is still a Freshman, A Red Shirt freshman at that, No spring ball and a New OC ,And the most Important part of all, He has no game experience at this level You just don't jump into the Heat at this level. Even Johnny FootBall had a Spring under his belt. He had to out perform Jameill Showers and Matt Joeckel in spring ball but still din't win the Job until fall practice where he won the starting QB Job out right! It is going to be Interesting to see what Broadway has cooking !! I just hope his CIA spys will give out just alittle more Info on this move and to who is going to be Kindles Back up!!

I tell you...I really like Quick at qb. Teach him how to throw and we got us something. We know he can run the pistol or the read option...and that seems to be the offense to run these days. But, I also trust that coach Broadway and staff knows best.

We already have a big TE returning this season. I can't think of his name right now but he is the big 6' 5" 225lbs kid out of Brooklyn NY. He was showing a lot of promise last year in fall camp until he hurt his knee. He really did not get to play much until mid season. He has gotten bigger and I expect him to be in the running for the starting job this season. It's always good to have competition. Also I have been hearing that Quick may be moved from QB to DB this season. Has anyone else heard this? I had heard this last year at the end of the season. I guess we will have to wait and see but at least we have several QB's to compete for PT.

I think he just wanted to be close to home. Coaches shouldn't take it personally.

Did the kid say we will be playing North Carolina in 2015? If so I guess that is when coach B thinks we will have the personnel necessary to play FBS teams and win a MEAC championship.

It may be true, but I've read articles about Hayes promising recruits they would be running out of the "new" field house back in the early 90's. Coaches are going to say what the kids want to hear, to get them to come.
