Union High School's Justin Smith signs with A&T Heard he is 6'2" about 230-235lbs and runs the 40 in 4.4. They say he has the type of build that will take more weight and in time will make a statement on the defensive side of the ball. Also, suppose to be a good kid with his priorities in order. Welcome on board!!

Brandon Picks North Carolina A&T By Michael Clark Scout.com Posted Oct 30, 2012 Ocean Lakes High (Virginia Beach, Va.) has had a great season. The Dolphins are led by a strong senior class. Recently, one of those seniors, Treavonne Brandon, made his college choice. Ocean Lakes has numerous college prospects. Treavonne Brandon is the most recent to make his college commitment. A few weeks ago, Brandon committed to North Carolina A&T. “I picked them because they have been there from the beginning, before I got interest from other colleges,” said Brandon. “They offered me early and the coaches always stayed in contact with me. I’ve been to a couple of games and I think I fit well in their defense. I also think I will have a chance to play there.” The Aggies’ coaching staff played a big role in his decision. “Coach (Sam) Washington (defensive backs coach) is a great coach,” said the 5-foot-11, 175-pound Brandon. “I worked with him when I went to camp and I like that he really focuses on technique. I also like the head coach (Rod Broadway).” It has been a special season for Brandon and his teammates. “The season has lived up to my expectations so far,” he said. “We knew after the Salem loss last year that we had to get better – and we have been working ever since.” Despite their success, the Dolphins are focused on winning a state championship. “I wouldn’t say the season would be a bust, but if we don’t win a state championship we will be very disappointed,” Brandon said. Brandon is happy with his decision. “My commitment is solid, that’s where I want to go,” he said. He chose the Aggies over interest from Delaware, Norfolk State, Old Dominion, and Richmond.
