i haven't been able to find any video on him, but i agree. i read somewhere that he ran a 5.21 in the 40 at a nike camp. i hope that was a misprint. but his rushing stats aren't impressive at all. he did complete over 50% of his passes, which is good. but the high school league that he played in isn't one of the strongest leagues in the dc area, though it has been known to produce some major bcs top recruits. he also played on the same high school team that became "famous" across the country because they have a female head coach (who is "fine" by the way). no knock on the coach though because her team played in the dc public high school league's championship game but came up short. wish i could find some video on him... Click on the link below to see a video on the new QB, Femi Bamiro. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t-lCMiWBic thanks, 62! he's better than i thought. no question he can throw the deep ball very accurately. and i haven't even finished watching the video...

Hopefully Bamiro will red shirt. Not sure he's ready to compete for a back up role just yet. i haven't been able to find any video on him, but i agree. i read somewhere that he ran a 5.21 in the 40 at a nike camp. i hope that was a misprint. but his rushing stats aren't impressive at all. he did complete over 50% of his passes, which is good. but the high school league that he played in isn't one of the strongest leagues in the dc area, though it has been known to produce some major bcs top recruits. he also played on the same high school team that became "famous" across the country because they have a female head coach (who is "fine" by the way). no knock on the coach though because her team played in the dc public high school league's championship game but came up short. wish i could find some video on him... now that i've seen his video, i take back "everything" i previously stated about him! naw, this kid can "definitely" play right away. no need to redshirt him unless absolutely necessary. and i don't know where that 5.21 forty that i read came from, maybe he was sick that day, i dunno. but watching his video, he may not be a "speedster", but he sho ain't no 5.21 by a long shot. he's easily at least a 4.7 or 4.8 guy, if not faster. he showed elusiveness and very respectable speed in the video. much more athletic than i thought and not as skinny as i thought either. he throws accurate passes. didn't see him step up into the pocket, but i did see him stand in the pocket while under pressure and pass accurately a couple of times. with his height, he obviously can see the entire field. folks, this kid can play! watch the video if ya don't believe me. wow! broadway ain't playing folks...

Right...I wouldn't be surprised if he plays defense for us. Well HELL, both qbs we recruited played safety in high school. Interesting!

naw, with his height, i'd keep him at the qb position. he's the only qb we have that's legitimately 6'3" or taller, and he's listed at 6'5". i really don't think kindle is a legit 6'2" and on film, the kid from durham doesn't appear to be any taller than 6'2" at the very most.
there's a reason everybody goes after the taller qb's, they can see and pass over top of most defensive linemen. so they have a better view of the field, and their passing lanes aren't obstructed as easily. whereas, the shorter qb's can't see or pass over top of most defensive linemen. shorter qb's have to find passing lanes or take deeper drops in order to view and pass to their targets which is a major disadvantage compared to taller qb's.
this kid has the tools to become a great qb. he needs just a little "tweaking" of his passing mechanics which i'm sure won't be a problem for pizzo to fix. kindle better not be fooling around. i like this kid even more than belcher because of his height and athletic ability. but i like both bamiro as well as belcher, they both are quality qb's in my opinion. hail, i haven't even seen 2 star qb boyan and shrine bowl qb kwashaun quick on film yet. pizzo is gonna have a field day with his qb's...

Yeah this kid is certainly a QB, good add for Broadway in his first class. I was impressed with his deep ball.

What is the name of that tall, thin QB A&T had in the early '70s (before Ellsworth Turner)?? I was in junior high school at the time, but I can picture him clear as day...just can't pull the name!

Im so Glad we're getting depth at the OL Position... That kid from GA (Jahkeem Forrester) looks like a player.. Comes off the ball very aggressively.. Might go both ways. but will definitely be opening up the holes for the run game this season!!! Highlight Tape: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxVBhs7slzkVIEW IN FULL SCREEN!

You must be talking about Len Reliford (sp). If so, I think his son played football for A&T a few years ago!

Len Reliford Jr. was a defensive end and two time all MEAC for Bill Hayes during the Maurice Hicks days. He terrorized FAMU and Bethune like nobody's business.
Coach Pizzo is really high on all his QBs that they brought in because now he can really open up his offense because of the depth he now has behind Kindle.
"Femi" is a tough young QB with a lot of smarts upstairs, great QB instincts, a tremendous arm and is still growing.

Hey oleschool I just watched his video also and he is very tall! He has a pro-style body. He will be a good fit for us, just need to add a couple of pounds i think he has all of the "physical" tools. let's hope he has the mental tools as well. he does have the body type that the pro's look for. but his passing mechanics has to be improved. ya almost hate to tweak his mechanics though because he appears to be a pretty accurate passer. but he's a "slinger", he uses more of a wind up throwing motion when passing. i'm sure pizzo will fix that which will give him a quicker release and more accuracy. i'm interested to find out how many other schools went after him. clearly he has all of the "physical" tools you look for in a qb. dude is agile and very athletic too! if he didn't have a bunch of other schools looking at him, i sure would like to know why. hopefully, not because of grades. also, the league he plays in is one of the weaker leagues in the dc area, but its not a bad league. they do produce some top notch bcs players. but some of the schools in that league have trouble getting enough guys to play to field a strong team...

It's obvious we only saw the best of his play considering he only passed for 1400 yards. Still I love his overall athletic ability and arm strength. I think he needs to quicken his delivery and work on his footwork. It would be good to redshirt him.

broadway brought in 4 very capable qb's. if all 4 remain qb's as their primary position for a&t, i would think 1 or 2 of them would redshirt. i haven't seen boyan or quick on video yet, so i don't have an opinion of which of the 4 may redshirt. since belcher averaged 40 yards per punt in high school, they may want to keep him active as a backup punter. or, perhaps one or more of them may be moved to another position.
but i would definitely keep bamiro at the qb position, can't teach 6'5"...
