Same itsh; different day!
*Offensive line sucked as usual. It's no wonder our rb corp is in the shape it's in. *Glenn made some poor decisions. On his good decisions he overthrew his receivers. *Kenny Perry continues to drop passes. *Refs sucked bigtime, but bad teams usually don't get any calls. *Run blocking was awful! Truesdale & Metcalf were on their own. *Pass blocking was awful! *Defense was awful but they were probably worn out after the first quarter.
Iwould add more but things got so ugly I left early in the 3rd quarter.

He did a helluva job yesterday at WR and returning punts. They should let him return kicks as well.

It seemed that we couldnt adjust well to what the offense was giving us. We keyed in on the run, but every time they passed the ball, it went for 1st down yardage or more. If I was BCC, I would have passed on 4 out of 5 plays from the second quarter on.

The team has totally given up on the season. After chatting briefly with James C on my way out afterwards, I suspect the next two games may well mark the end for at least three assistants on this coaching staff

Twill they all be on the offensive side of the ball as we suspect?
My thing is if it's Renick forcing Small to make changes against his will I ain't with that. Let Small run his own damn program and make a change at the top if he's unsuccessful at it. Don't be Jerry Jonesing his a$$ to death.
Oh yeah, we looked like isht. At least I had alcohol to keep me happy.

Me too. By the end of regulation, I felt like we were up by 40.

I ran into James C at the airport in Charlotte on my way to Greensboro Sat morning. Nice guy! I will post more on my ametuerish interview with the HNIC, but one thing that I remember him saying was that "We are trying to build a program. If you build a program, then the seasons will come."
That lead me to beleive that he has a little more patience than I would like him to, but I guess we will see. I was just a stranger in an airport, and he may not have wanted to tip his hand to the public just yet.

Yeah as much as we all want to see some changes Small has to be the one to pull the trigger. As I said earlier he can hold everyone over if he likes, but he has to know there will be consequences if we suffer through another season like this.

What he said...Small has to be asking himself some questions. He has to be seeing the same things we are. The offense hasn't improved since the NCCU game.

"The offense hasn't improved since the NCCU game". Correction (if you don't mind)...... The offense has not improved since the SCSU and Wofford game. In fact, the offense sucked last season, the change or difference is they ( the offense) have now added a defense that is in a malaise to their recipe for disaster.
