Reshirting him might be a reward. Push him to the limit. Find out now if he has what it takes, and if he doesn't let him go and use the scholarship on someone else.

I don't think people should get all worked up over this. I think the kid will be fine. It would be nice if he can help us right away and maybe he still can. We got to work with him. Too good a talent to give up on him this early.

Man if we want to be a force we got to get Taller OL. Fobbs says he get tired of looking at his lineman at eye level. He want to be able to lookup at those guys. I know he's strong but we need 6'6"- 6'8 " at 290-300 pound quick OL

Yeah. Those 6'6, 6'8 guys come a dime a dozen. Fobbs should have no trouble bringing in about 10 of those kind of lineman next year.

Hayes did not seem to have any problem but I see your point.

Most of Hayes' guys were 6'3" overweight potbellies with a mean streak. If it's me I'd run an offense where I didn't need tall linemen. But it ain't me.

Dooms I don't think Jemaine Steven was 6'3'
Jamain Stephens #75 | Tackle | Denver Broncos Roster: Height: 6-6 Weight: 340 Born: Jan 9, 1974 - Lumberton, NC College: North Carolina A&T Draft: 1996 - 1st round (29th pick) by the Pittsburgh Steelers

When we recruited him he was a 6'3" overweight defensive lineman. I was in school with him. But I wouldn't expect you to know all that.
Try again. But keep in mind I typed most of Hayes' guys were 6'3" overweight potbellies with a mean streak. Don't find six guys out of over 200 and think that changes the facts.

I thought the bottom line is as 4XL implies , can they play....Stephens may have been what you said ( FAT etc) but he was rated as one of the top prospects in NC when he came out of HS. Guess he grew 3 inches once he got to NCA&T. He paired well with Cooley 6-5 or 6-6 . Was Rodney Edwards 6-5? Q. Mitchell 6-6. Pat Jordan... 6-4 . But Chad Mann was 6-0 300 and many more ( elbert Griffen, Richard Lide, Hall, ) were the size you indicate....but the bottom line was that he looked for linemen who could play
