For those who want more information on Bill Bell or the early days of Aggie Football, there is a book by Bill Bell titled "Black Without Malice". Makes for some good reading.

Aggierattler, Elon might have used us as a "stepping stone" but I was looking at it from the cost effective perspective. Thanks for the info on A&T's coaching history.

Agree with Bigboy. The game with Elon was cost effective compared to a game w/ Coastal Carolina or such an opponent. The fan cost of playing in LA seems to be too great given the quality of that Classic. What A&T should do is beat Elon and UNCG so bad that there is no question about the top dog. Isn't that what happen with Liberty and WCU? I would think you would want to get something for the naming rights to the stadium. Honor Bell with a bust near the fieldhouse..ditto for Hayes..And get some corporate $$$...Your program needs money and no seems to have ideas except the people on this board. did any of you older aggies notice that Clifton Britt( 6-4 285 g when he played) died July 24, 2007? He played 77-81.

You guys need to start letting me know sooner when a former player passes away so I can mention them on the site.
