Naw, as long as we dont become the "3-kings" again or finish bottom half of the MEAC again then i dont have a problem with Eaves.

we just gave him an extension. it wouldn't make sense to fire him now. but he needs to be put on notice and considering how improved the team is this season as well as eaves' about face in offensive philosophy (no excessive 3's), we probably have no choice but to stick with him for now.
we've got an athletic department image to clean up and firing eaves now would only add to our tarnished image...

Eaves is improving, albeit slowly and this support of his program is improving, albeit slowly. The Basketball teams finally has their own Strength Coach and weight room and that new Mens' Assistant Coach is working wonders for Coleman.
Lets not forget also that Eaves is bringing in "plenty money" for the Athletic Program.

Please leave Eaves alone. At least he is making slow progress. If you want to see a bad coach, take note of what's going on in Tallahassee.

;DAny BB coach can schedule 8 or 9 money games w/top tier Division One teams and get a paycheck. The money is much needed but what I am talking about is once Eaves contract is up he has to go. He is in his 8th year and he has hit his ceiling. He is just a .500 coach within the MEAC, even after he brought us out of the dark hole. I am tahnkful for that but it was his job and he got paid for it. I'm talking about what Martin said the other day--EXCELLENCE!!! Remember, I got an overpass on East Market St. for sale if you believe Eaves will take us to the next level. "IF NOTHING CHANGES. NOTHING CHANGES"

NOTHING CHANGES" Remember, he was finally able to hire a quality assistant coach, that is paying off greatly in Coleman's MEAC POY play, and Both Mens' and Womens' Basketball Teams finally got their own Weight Room and Strength Coach. Believe it or not, Eaves is improving. Heck, we played Hampton and Morgan (2 pt loss) tough and i believe 3 of the 4 losses we had in conf. play were by 7 pts or less.

Look, Eaves is a .500 coach. Face it, he has carried us as far as he can. That coach that was brought in that use to coach at WSSU is waiting in the wings. Mark my word. I appreciate what Eaves has done and I hate to see anyone lose their job ... but the man still can't coach at this level. Any coach in America can schedule money games so that is no reason to keep him. It is done by every HBCU school. We might as well clean house while the getting is good. I don't care about the publicity because "white" universities will fire your a$$ in a minute if you are not producing. Eaves has had more than a fare chance and we still are and will always be a 15 - 14 or 14 - 15 team. We need new blood at his position ... SOON.
