We are recruiting again for the best and brightest! Perhaps you might know of students who are in the following cities who might be interested in a PAID internship to work at Television stations and Media companies in the following cities: Atlanta, GA Bristol, Connecticut Greensboro, North CarolinaNew York/New Jersey Washington, DC Silver Spring, Maryland Philadelphia, PA Horsham, PA Miami, Fl We are looking for minority HS seniors who plan to attend a four year college, have at least a 3.0 GPA and an interest in media, business, computer science, engineering or technology. In addition to being PAID, student also receive a matching funds scholarship. The internship will last throughout their college years. Thanks for the info JayBee! I forwarded to my network. You're welcomed! These internships are great, and the pay is sweet! My 15 y.o. daughter attended a different one this past summer at Howard U in engineering.

I will definitely spread the word around to the college students I know. We definitely need more blacks in the media. I saw a TV piece on Oprah Winfrey's new cable channel. The only blacks in the production studio were Oprah and her girl pal friend, Gale King. The rest of the people were white and one Asian.
Now there may be some blacks working for Oprah's cable channel and they were just not around when Entertainment Tonight came around with their cameras.
