We need to play Buck more. He is very aggressive and can leap. He was the MVP in the game against UNC-G to me. He was getting boards and hustling when Coleman was not. Coleman only came alive in the second half. Buck was the one who really sparked us in this game. Why did Nic Simpson who was hot in the first half not have any plays ran for him in the second half. He played over 3 fourths of the second half before he took a shot and that was a driving lay up. Coleman and Whitter should not be handling the ball outside like they are guards. Play Powell more. He is a quiet player who produces. J. Underwood is going to be good also with the proper coaching.

The City of Aggies Courtesy: NC A&T Sports Information Release: 11/29/2010GREENSBORO - Is this Thomas Coleman's year? "He's a tremendous interior defender, especially when he's active,'' said Eaves. "This is the first time he has played to his ability. I take the blame for not getting him to play to the best of his ability when he was a sophomore and junior. But this year I'm going to stay on him because he could really have a special year." man, i don't know who got through to coach eaves over the summer, but his tone has completely changed compared to last season. remember last season he blamed a lot of our failures on the players? once stating he needed to go out and recruit some junior college players? well, finally he accepted responsibility for the poor development of coleman. i like that he accepted personal responsibility for a change. wow! is that really jerry eaves coaching our men this season? no relentless 3's, no throwing the players under the bus, and a dominant thomas coleman? wow! i like the new jerry eaves. maybe he sees how dr. martin went to work on the football department and figures he'll get less rope from dr. martin...

the wins against "g" & unc-w were good wins but the win against middle tenn st. was bigger... midd-tenn had the highest rpi of any team to ever step foot in corbett...
also i've blasted "g" for not coming to corbett... i was somewhat wrong... i still think they should come... but i see their point for not coming to corbett... a&t does not spend money on mens bball... this is the reason i hear from alot of schools on why they don't schedule a&t home & home...
when will the folks in dowdy wake up & start trying to do whats right...
how many millions of dollars will keep escaping them... the folks in dowdy haven't got a clue on the business side of college athletics... not one clue...

If you disagree w/truthseeker, argue his points, not personal attacks.
Aggie One, you actually belief Eaves is worried about job security? How many times has his contract been renewed? Plus, why would Stith want the A&T job when left WSSU for a juco job? The men's job aint much better than a d2 gig. "C'mon man!!!!!!

What's their point for not coming? I dont get it? teams aren't calling eaves for home & home because a&t doesn't spend money on their program... hampton has no problem getting home & home gms because hampton spends money... for the folks over at "g" to come to corbett.. is like us going to edward waters... when a&t decides to spend money on mens bball & get us to the low mid-major ranks at least... then more teams would be willing to play us home & home...

"da heretic,

Show me where I ever posted that I have all, or any answers, Friscotxaggie. If I had all the answers, I'd be coachin somewhere, same as you.
I believe that coach Eaves is and has always been a good coach, and I'm basing that on the circumstances that he and other coaches at A&T are up against, i.e., the lack of money in the whole athletic department. Why da hell is the team playin Miss. State, Fla, Ohio State, Ball State, etc? It aint for RPI. That aint an answer, that's an opinion, like your opinion that Eaves is doin "better."

Aren't we missing someone in this season's discussion of Aggies Basketball, especially about Coach Eaves?
