C'mon, dude.
This is the same WSSU that canceled its home radio broadcasts last year.

Final Score WSSU 47 VUU 13
I must say that's an impressive beginning for a 1st time head coach.

Final Score WSSU 47 VUU 13 I must say that's an impressive beginning for a 1st time head coach. Very impressive!! Almost 400 yards of offense!

I was pretty impressed by how well-coached Winston looked tonight.
For it to be the first game of the season, they didn't have a lot of offside calls, defensive breakdowns or bonehead plays. I think the only penalties they got called for in the first 3 quarters was downfield holding by their smurf receivers.
As for their offense, they have a quarterback that looks and plays like Randall Rankins. They have a couple of decent running backs but No. 9 is the guy who scares me the most. He is a fairly big back who runs hard every snap ... kinda reminds me of Mike Ferguson ... but with a tad more speed.
They have speed at the receiver position but not a lot of size. I would feel better about this matchup if Quay Long and Justin Ferrell were playing. Their QB doesn't have a big arm but he is more accurate than most HBCU throwers.
Defensively, they were flying around the ball all night, but keep in mind that this was Va Union they were playing against. Winston does not have a lot of big uglies up front on either side of the football so I think we should be able to control the line of scrimmage.
What truly worries me about next week is Maynor. He is without a doubt an offensive guru. The Rams showed more creativity and execution on offensive in one half last night than A&T has shown in about a decade. They were running double reverses, halfback tosses, shovel passes and bubble screens ... you name it. (And yeah, I know we run bubble screens a lot too ... but ours usually go for about 2 yards ... theirs went for first downs. ) Maynor has evidently amassed an impressive playbook since his Arena Football League days and he's not afraid to use it.
Oh and by the way, WSSU has a real kicker. I think he made two long field goals and all his PATS.
Next Saturday is gonna be real interesting.

Im hearing that Kindle our starting QB is out for the year is this true. We must have a QB curse. We have not had a starting QB two years or more under center in a long time. Is this true or not?
