I have the performance...from the back at least...my inside sources were completely off base on this one...everyone performed to the home side with the exception of Shaw...but then again the home side was packed while you could pitch a tent on other side... SMH

But i will say the Machine Came to Play...they had Kanye West Power and the opening Fanfare was straight fire...there were a few control issues from my home side correspondents, but its the pre-season and can be fixed...Even with FAMU there, A&T had the show of the night... The band also played On The Floor & Billy Jean By Michael Jackson, Golden Delight Danced to California Gurls By Katy Perry and Twirled to Superstar by Luther, and the breakdown consisted of Go Head and Imma Be by Rico Barrino (Fantasia's Brother) and The Black Eyed Peas Respectively... They even did The Bed Intruder Song as an Encore ;D A&T Performancewww.youtube.com/watch?v=r64S1JlIIEAA&T Encore (Best to watch in HD) www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTKJd6vul8kas for the rest... SCSU is SMALLER this year...but not bad in the sound dept. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIBnLpl0kOgFAMU did well provided the circumstances, that Melanie Fiona was great. On a "ha ha note"im sure its going to be a LONG ride back to Tally-ho for that tuba that went AWOL during the drill ;D DRILL www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0ylS4qksp4It Kills Me www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKOvH5-NH18

If this is the beginning of the season no telling how good they will be when they hit Norfolk then Durham the week after that. They were more than pretty damn good for the first time out. Wow!!

It is amazing what a little extra money and attention from the top can produce.

Yeah.. alot of people on the5thquarter.com were giving us madd props. Many believe that we had the OVERALL best show of the nite and the most entertaining. I'm very very proud of my band but we still have a lot of stuff to work on and only get even better

Wow!! and some of y'all were worried that a lil' ole pool party would be the death of the machine this year Anyways, this is an Amazing start to the season for the Machine. They are taking this momentum from the pre-season and really riding strong...if this what comes w/ just a "little" attention imagine what could be done with the FULL $upport of the Aggie Nation....

That was an amazing performance, I'm looking forward to seeing them live Saturday. I hope that they go back do some woodshedding on a few parts of the show. However, they looked great and they can only get better!

The FUNK is back. The swagger is back. The Machine is back! Those arrangements are fire. They played the heyall outta that Luther Vandross. Hell, I almost cried. ;D Golden Delight finds a way to take it to the next level even when you think they've done everything. Two formations in the drill to boot. I criticize my band a lot also but that was without a doubt the best show I've seen from them in many a year....and it's the first show of the year.

Yeah Aggieblues I'm eating my crow biscuit this morning b/c I was the one that had the problem with the pool party in the middle of band camp. But hey, if pool parties create performances like this then, POOL Party on Thursday! ;-)
