It all starts with leadership. If you are never taught to fight you will always get beat. * Standing up and Clapping Loudy *

This discussion has gotten quiet the last few days, lol how are things shaping up I know the upperclassmen should be arriving? And are things still looking good as far as numbers and quality?

The upperclassmen came today. There is not much to tell right now until someone goes up to the band room and see.

Got back from seeing the band...they should be okay as long as they apply themselves. They have enough to be a really good Marching Machine, but if they are complacent they can be the ole Aggie band. Those of you around the band know what I mean.

I agree with totally ohsixrain. I think most of our fans would just like to see us put a 200 plus piece band on the field or something close to that in terms of those kinds of numbers so we would keep up with the trend among the better bands in the MEAC like NSU BCU, and FAMU.
IMO if we are marching 190-200 this year that's more than enough. You can only do so much as far a music variety and marching choreography in your shows once you start hitting 250 and above. Putting 300 people on he field looks impressive like a SCSU but that doesn't necessarily translate into really sound musicality.

I thought Memorial Stadium was being renovated and that was the reason that we could not play the NCCU game there!!
