A Win is a Win. Had they lost this game we could have sited poor focus etc. The key to maturing as a team is pulling out a win even if you play poorly or not up to standards.
Example: Kentucky beat a (3-9) Miami of Ohio team by a mere two points; should have beat them by at least 15. But does it matter they still got the W.
Its just a good lesson for the team they probably looked at the NCCU lost to Duke by 65 points or so and figuered they could just sleep walk to an easy 20 point win. NCCU girls probably wanted this game more than any game on their schedule.

"Then" has everything to do with this thread since you're talking about Coach Robinson. Coach Bibbs won championships before she ever knew Robinson, and she'll win some without him. I'll agree that this team is not last years team, which is why Coach Bibbs is trying to put a formula together for the talent she currently has. I think you you missed the point. The question posed by the poster was: "Will the Lady Aggies remain MEAC Champs or will they suffer for not having an affective coaching staff behind them? In my mind that question only relates to the "now". I attempted breakdown my understanding of poster's position and I viewed the reference to Coach Robinson as just that a reference; not an indictment of lack of skills on the behalf of Coach Bibbs as apparently 99.9% of Aggies did. We are becoming so hell bent on defending everything Aggie that we sometimes miss the point. Of course, only ladyaggiefan knows for sure what her intent and tone was, but with a promise of being ripped to shreds, it’s unlikely we will find out. its one thing to question any coach's decisions during a game, it happens to the best of them. but to question whether a bonafide "hall of fame" coach is merely "qualified" to coach a team that she just led to a record breaking season the year before is completely insane! any person can say with legitimacy that they don't agree with some of her coaching decisions. but there's "zero" justification for alleging that coach bibbs is not even "qualified" to coach our team. now, if you or anyone else supports that notion, then i'd recommend that you and/or they get your heads examined...

With all due respect Aggie 77, paint the interpretation any way you want.
That sir is an indictment of Coach Bibbs.

Not with the rolling eyes again. What does that mean anyways? Obviously, you have an issue with the word “qualified” as used, and I can’t disagree in its singular use as applied to Coach Bibbs. But the question before us is: "Will the Lady Aggies remain MEAC Champs or will they suffer for not having an affective coaching staff behind them? The poster used the word coaches in it plural form, while Coach Bibbs is clearly a subset of this unit, the word “qualified” is used in broader context than addressed by you. Is it your opinion that Coach Bibbs’ “Hall of Fame” credentials trumps all and would win with me on her staff?

Maybe not with you or me on the sideline but with a more than competent assistant which she does have in Coach Murray......in a word .....yes.

How many recruits did Murray sign before the end of last season?? How many girls has he signed all together?? What are his responsibilities for the game plan? Does he have any strong points (offense, defense, both)? Just want to know how competent he is.

When I read the first few post, I laughed my head off. I was thinking did someone get reincarnated as women's basketball coach? lol
NCCU beat SC State by 30 points a few days earlier in Durham and here comes The Big Bad Aggies. Sure the Lady Eagles were jacked up against an injury riddled Lady Aggies, their rival.

For the record, I still have my account and read about once a week. Thrilla can verify that post isn't mines. He checks computer names. I am done, but my posts were far more intelligent than that. Plus, I've learned that banging on Eaves is OK, but Bibbs is off limits. I am/will just watching from afar, but I just can't let you group my opinions with any wreckless post (plus my grammar and spelling is better).
For the record, it's retarded to question her credentials for coaching at an HBCU. Read it again, sounds like a player to me. Who else could hear EVERYTHING that ALL the coaches were saying during a loud Eagle/Aggie game? But, then again, you all are much smarter than me. Take care.

Don't look now ALTaggie but Murray just helped bring in the incoming 2011 class that everyone is already raving about and helped close the deal on Amber Calvin last year after Robinson left as well.
I don't get some of you guys at all. You get the best coach in WBB among all of the HBCUs and one of the better ones overall in the country and then want to suddenly turn on her after winning the conference tourney last year and two back to back regular season championships and now all ya'll can do is gripe and complain?
About what? Ooohh, somebody didn't like her body languauge or her verbage at the NCCU game or she held her mouth funny.
Give me a f***king break.

yeah, and i'd still like to know the official status of nakia deblanc. she's still only getting very limited playing time but i don't know if its due to illness/injury or lack of performance. i think she's a very important piece to our puzzle and we really need her healthy for conference play, along with sams and smalley.
and i'm not sure what's up with coulter either. i thought she'd be having much more impact by now. is she still working through her injury as well?

PJ / Thriller, Aggie One,
Would it be possible for one of the three of you to do a sit down interview with Coach Bibbs. Maybe as a preview to conference play. If not someone from bdv them maybe this is a good idea for Brian Holloway.

It's gonna be hard for me to do a whole lot of anything right now, now that Saint Nicholas is here.
