I was told he was recruiting a De Matha player last week, but didn't know he was going to commit. A friend told me that his mom was impressed with Eaves and A&T.

man, i just wish? for once, that we could sign a true "stud" out of high school! dude is probably in the same mold as eaves' recruits have a tendency to be. another so, so, player. yeah, demantha is a prestigious program, one of the best in america. their entire team normally earn a d1 scholarship by graduation. but dayum, dude's video's just didn't impress me. he needs to work on his handle.
well, at least eaves is recruiting from one of the best high school basketball conferences in the country. i just wish we could land a "stud" for a change...

Remember, what he's done is make inroads into the WCAC conference, one of the best in the nation. As the team gets better that stud will come.

Can you see the pattern? Eaves is working his way into one of the most talented rich high school conferences in the US. Oleschool, you live close by so you know and see the top talent in that area.

According to a family friend of the recruit, he is a little "too" unselfish. However, when pushed can really be dynamic. He comes from a solid academic family and "they" considered A&T for more than an opportunity to play ball.

yeah, that always seems to be the story for a typical eaves recruit. my boy cnixon said the exact same thing about powell. there always seems to be a reason (i won't say excuse) for a lack of production. they said the same thing about r.j. buck.
maybe one day we'll get a recruit that no one has to make excuses for. but i yield to my boy, coach eaves. he knows far more about basketball than i'll ever know! if he feels these guys are worthy of a schollie, then i'll have to respect that. at least until i've seen them play a few times...

Wow, I can't believe what I'm reading!!! I've been saying that all along. Please keep in mind that while we're making "inroads", we are approaching a decade under the Eaves regime.
