We missed a lot of FT's. Rob will be back sat. D Joshua went to the hoop with no one to follow up behind him. I lot of people left with 8mins left. HU tried to give us the game.
> The Aggie Maniacs ( Dawg pound) are suspended. Their leadership did not attend the required organizational meetings. The Pep band did fine however. Man I miss the maniacs! The Gym is not the same.

Hopefully the maniacs will be back soon, at least for the ESPNU game...They have a meeting with their advisor later in the week to discuss some stuff, maybe they'll be back by next home game...no guarantees though

Tonight is the night to say, Enough is enough!!! I have played coached and watched basketball for over 25yrs and this was the worst display of coaching I think I've ever seen. Poor use of timeouts, poor execution on both ends of the floor and over all basketball savvy.. With 1:50 sec. left on the clock, we had players on the floor that didn't know the situation. That’s coaching!!

No excuse for not giving maximum effort tonight. No senior leadership. Some of these guys should be benched and let the freshmen play the rest of the season. Pathetic..................... Can you think of an adjective that is worse than "pathetic"?? It would be a fitting term to describe the play of the men's team. The way A&T's men team is playing this season, they should be paying people to attend their games. The games are awful. I have tried to be positive and make positive statements about the team even though I'm there watching terrible basketball being played. There is not much hope for a winning season, unless some miraculous transformations occur.

Man I miss the maniacs! The Gym is not the same. Gym was empty, no buzz, didn't hear the music during timeouts... That is nowhere near the same atmosphere that had been in Corbett. It was an intimidating place to play in, but not right now.

Man, I wish we could have One 'throwback' game in Moore Gym. ( I know we cant with season tkt holder seats ect). I'm tripping! I did, however walk thru Moore Gym and I saw a flyer posted for Walk-on's for the Football team. I looks like Coach Lee wants all of the gym rats that are 'fast as h*ll', or that can 'push thru a brick wall'. Is it time for the Spring Game!
Naw folks, I feel better this morning. > Howard beat a suddenly hot NSU, and we have hung around everyone we have played in the league so far, playing the way that we are. Hampton should have won by 20, but could not. I know we are struggling, but we are not 'blowout' bad. It's not still early, early, but it's a lot of ball left.
Boy I miss the Dawg Pound. Its funny, it keeps a lot of folks young & they show the children that it is ok to love/cheer A&T.
> I thought I saw NCCU's Best Lady Eagle Ballplayer at the game. That Sister that is lighting it up this season.

AGGIES LOSE SECOND STRAIGHT AT HOME
GREENSBORO – Mama said there would be days like this.
North Carolina A&T men’s basketball coach Jerry Eaves was pleased with his team’s effort Monday night. He thought his team executed well offensively and defensively.
Despite that, the Aggies lost their fourth straight conference game and their second straight game at home with a 65-55 loss to Hampton Monday night at Corbett Sports Center. It led Eaves to describe the Aggies play of late as the “dog days.”
Senior guard Dwane Joshua led the Aggies with 18 points. Junior center Thomas Coleman added 16 points and 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season.
“Today gave us a little more to work with, but we are in a serious shooting slump,’’ said Eaves. “We can’t seem to hit layups or free throws at the correct time in a game.”
The difference again on Monday was the Aggies start. For the second straight home game, the Aggies found themselves down by double figures in the first half. The Pirates shot 50 percent in the first half to take a 39-28 halftime lead.
Normally, the Aggies are able to regroup in the second half by playing well defensively and knocking down shots. The Aggies defense improved, but the shots didn’t fall on a consistent basis.
“Teams have been able to come in and hit their five threes early in the game,’’ said Eaves. “They bank them in, they shoot them from 30 feet and they hit them falling away. That really puts the snow on top of my kids early as the avalanche starts to grow. But my young men did a great job of staying with it. We got the shots we wanted in the last 10 minutes. We just didn’t make them.”
The shots the Pirates hit in the first half were not falling in the second half. Hampton shot just 33 percent in the second half, but was able to maintain a double-figure lead for most of the second half. When Nic Simpson found a cutting Tavarus Alston for a layup the Aggies were down 53-44 with nine minutes remaining.
Two missed 3-pointers, two missed free throws and two turnovers did not allow the Aggies (5-13, 1-4 MEAC) to get any closer over their next five possessions. Michael Freeman’s tip-in and Darrion Pellum’s alley-oop dunk gave the Pirates a 13-point lead with four minutes to play.
“Our shots will eventually go in,’’ said Eaves. “We’re just going to have to work our way through this.”
Hampton improved to 5-12 overall and 2-3 in the MEAC. Kwame Morgan led the Pirates with 13 points. Freeman added 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Aggies face S.C. State in Orangeburg, S.C., Saturday before playing arch-rival Winston-Salem State Monday night at the LJVM Annex.

To say something about the dawg pound, its been so bad the past couple of games, there has been people from Howard and Hampton sitting in that section...talkin all kinds of trash even during the women's game. Making statements like "they aren't that good" and one fan from Hampton even said to one girl, "if you foul out make sure you hit #45 in the knee"

That's sad.
How could the current student body allow this to happen?
