PJ, I heard yesterday that the "Maniacs" have been banned from the Dawg Pound! I understand it's nothing to do with a reprimand, but a technicality of another kind. maybe you can find out the exact skinny.

Nice article!!
Based on past performance, who do you think will have breakout performances this weekend, both men and women?
Barring car trouble or any other unforseen circumstances, these will be my first games of the season. Lookin forward to it!

Sammiz, I'm not too close to them. I'll go over during the games and ask some of them about it. Brand, its hard to tell who will show up. I hope Rob plays. Nic is way overdue for a good shooting night. I dont expect the freshman to do a whole lot. But they all have been getting some run in the past few games. I dont know Brother. I wish Coleman or Porter would have a good scoring night, because when D Joshua has a good game it does not really make a big difference. Coleman has to have the ball in the right place...we have to make it easier for him.
Groove, I believe it will be webcasted....ie with video.
These are important games. We are already down near the bottom tier of the league. The time is now. This is a good time for a home game. Its just so early...and NFL football is king.

Corbett Gym really misses the "Marketingman". It hasn't been the same since he left. He was able to coordinate everything before and during the game. The students need to make Corbett a tough place to play in for the opponents, again

So what's the problem? I think we have talent, but could it be the coaches game plan or what?

So what's the problem? I think we have talent, but could it be the coaches game plan or what? i haven't seen the men play enough, so i can't really say for sure what the problem is. but from a distance, i would start with all of those 3's we shoot. as a rule, i just don't believe you can live by the 3...

So what's the problem? I think we have talent, but could it be the coaches game plan or what? Eaves has sold out to this system of shooting threes but he does not have the talent to run it. We shot 28% from 3pt land and 41% from the FT line tonight and only lost by five. Joshua was "o-fer" from the arc. That won't get it. The funny part is we shot 50% from the field overall which means when we weren't shooting threes we were shooting layups. Also this year's team does not play as good a defense as teams past. If the team shot 35% instead of 30% from 3PT and 70% instead of 60% from the stripe, it would be totally different and they'd be undefeated in the conference. We don't have the talent this year to run this system and Eaves won't let it go.
