I for one like this partnership. Hopefully it will benefit both schools.
Here's an unrelated question. Is it possible for a UNC-G student to play football at A&T......say as a walk-on?

No but the BOG has one ;D Yep, they sure do. One of these days they'll accomplish their goal of turning A&T into UNCG-Market St Campus. Come on man. Can't I joke with u a little bit. WE all know that a merger will not happen. Besides, I agree with DECKS, it is a good idea to venture into a new technology that will become a big deal during the next decade.

Rumors that I heard while in school stated that A&T and UNCG students could play varsity sports for the other school if their school didn't offer it. I think it's just a myth, that's grown into urban legend status @ G, though. It ranks up there with the urban legend that the reason G doesn't have a football team is b/c of wealthy older female donors wouldn't allow it. I heard that one a lot.

BTW, I recently saw the plans for the School of Nanoscience. It's going to be a very impressive place.

I chose to take a humorous shot b/c your point flat out pissed me off. Rather than have another discussion with you guys about how wrong your train of thought was, I decided to simply point out the historic inaccuracy of the picture. Again for the record ... we do not have a "Screw Over A&T" department at G. You can come and search for it if you'd like. Well, UNCG's smug attitude and A&T administrators' willingness to accept it pisses me off. When UNCG launches a new school in which they have the footing or foundation they sure as heck don't bring A&T on as partner like their plans for a pharmacy school.

A&T's ROTC presented the colors at the basketball game last night.

Remeber its UNCG East Campus Say what you will, but i became a little suspicious when all of a sudden UNCG changed its school colors to Blue & Gold. And think its a joke if you want to. If the merge ever happened, The school would be right there with UNC and State and would get major state funds. But the s@%$ ain't never going to happen ;D ;D ;D
