Lee said at the press conference Monday that he had a bunch of big name players from the area who he was closed to signing.
He is bringing a bunch of recruits in for homecoming this weekend.

NC sleeper CB decides to stay at home By Mike Farrell, Recruiting Analyst Oct 25, 3:46 pm EDT Printable View Return to Original PrintHigh Point (N.C.) T.W. Andrews cornerback Jamie Smith made a decision this past week. The 5-foot-9, 174-pounder has decided to stay in-state. “I committed to North Carolina A&T last Wednesday,” he said. “I decided on them because they’ve got a good program and they are on the up rise. That’s where I wanted to be at and they’ve got a great academic program.” Smith went further about why he picked A&T. “Coach Lee is a real good man,” he said. “They take care of their players and make them into men. They care about me. My high school coach told me that. “I also like the tradition and school spirit. Plus, it’s right around the corner so my mom doesn’t have to go far.” Smith picked North Carolina A&T over a an offer from Winston-Salem State and a verbal offer from Duke. He also was getting recruited by Norfolk State and Appalachian State. Mike Farrell is a recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He is bringing a bunch of recruits in for homecoming this weekend. homecoming is, in my opinion, our last "critical" game this season. and if recruits are coming, its especially "critical". win this game, and i'll just relax until february when the general announces his 2nd aggie recruiting class. we saw what he can do with zero credibility as a head coach while taking over a struggling program. but win the homecoming game and the general not only will have credibility as a head coach, he'll also have a winning record to boot! we'll have good facilities, a great fan base, an inspirational coach, a young up and coming team of basically freshmen and sophomores, and a winning record! it don't get much better than that at the hbcu level. we gotta have that win this weekend...

LOL, I doubt if those kids will be paying a whole lot of attention to the game!

Decks, you would be surprised how closely kids and their parents pay attention to those kinds of things nowadays. School atmosphere and the appeal of the head coach will make or break a recruiting trip.
