Hold up, this letter came from an Aggie. You have got to be fugging kidding me. Man almost every poster on this board has or has had some issue with A&T...but, running to the N&R instead of taking care of things at home is some sad chit.
There was nothing said in that letter that he couldn't have said to one of our administrators face to face.

Yeah, the first time I saw that letter was on the Elon message board. Its one thing to voice your dissapproval over A&T policies on this board to other Aggies, it's another thing entirely to give all the A&T haters ammunition via the News & Worthless.
I wish Norman Abrams was a member of this site so I could ban his azz.

How do yall know that a Elon fan didn't take the letter and post it? The man is just letting his opinion be heard. Someone needs to call this damn administration out, even if its in Public. Maybe that will make them get there act together.
It's no secret the athletics are struggling right now. I just left a meeting with Hillside high school(Durham) basketball and football coaches. I mentioned A&T for some of there kids and they all but laughed in my face. They said (straight up) that they would not recommend A&T to a kid that had another option right now. They think the athletics are in disarray. This is from a football coach that currently has seniors signed to UNC, Penn State, Notre Dame(maybe UNC), and a undecided D1 prospect. The basketball coach has a trip to Hampton in a couple of weeks for one of his kids that will probably average 25pts a game this year.
Its no secret, so please stop acting like it is. We always so secretive about our sports at A&T and get up in arms when some "secret" comes out that no one cared about in the first place but us. I applaud this letter. Someone needs to slap, embarras, or humiliate this administration to get them in gear.

I am an alumni of Hillside High School and my cousin is currently the star player on the basketball team. The Basketball coach there has no idea how to get his players recruited . My aunt is currently trying to help my cousin out and I mentioned A&T to him but, his best friend Chris Faison is no longer on the basketball team so he has no interest. I am still working on him but, A&T is also guard heavy. The football coach I do not know but, the offensive coordinator played at Howard. The kids don't look down on A&T but, the kids are in denial also. They all think that they can go to Unc and the Florida states. It is only a hand full that are worthy of going to those schools. They rest of the kids need to wake up and look at A&T.

Dude, how does writing editorials to a paper that YOU KNOW does not have your school's best interest at heart help our situation here at A&T? Sorry, but that just seems like a lame move in my opinion.
To me, that's like a disgruntled Democratic going on Fox News to criticize his own party. There's just gotta be better forums than that to get your point across.

Hillside? Isn't that Coach Hayes' alma mater?
I'm laughing to keep from crying. It has come back to bite us in the a$$. And all of the culprits are no longer even affiliated with the university.

Hayes rarely recruited from Hillside in his last eight years a total of four players. My senior year (1994) in High School we had 15 players to go to D 1-A or 1-AA schools. Most players went to Howard because Steve Wilson recruited them another Durhamite. Hayes did not even come on our campus.

Laughing at the Hayes quote. Well, I'da thunk it and I said as much when he was hired. Go on Bill! You deserve it.
