It's good to see Coulter back. If she's healthy she could be the best of our bigs. i agree, decks. i was wondering where the heck she was last season because she was a major force the year before. also this year, i think deblanc will give coulter a run for her money as one of our best bigs. she really picked up her game towards the end of the season last year. but the big at the very top of my list (if ya can call her a big) is my favorite, lamona smalley! love me some smalley!! as long as she's been an aggie, i think she has been and always will be the inspirational leader of this team...

This team will be an inside out team this year, a reverse from what we were a year ago on offense.

This team will be an inside out team this year, a reverse from what we were a year ago on offense. You are probably right. This team will miss Bland and Taylor-James, becuase they could shoot off the dribble (jumpers), which made them excellent scorers. Bibbs has scorers, but not quite at that level and ability. Hopefully, the new people have some of that ability or skill.

With and inside outside presence we should blow throught the conference again but in a different way. Although we dont have a 6'4" center we have signifigant talent at the 3&4 spot and a big rotation at the five sopt and a solid point guard.
The question is who will knock down 3's with any consistance. Tweet did aginst Florida State but hopefully a few other shooters will emerge when teams pack down in a low zone.
One thing that hurt us last year against the big Div 1' is not having a slasher type of player. But you usually only find them at top Div 1's. I am talking 6'2 and above with 3 spot skills and a handle. Florida State had two of them.
A good coach can work there way around not having a 6'4 -6"5 center; Bibbs has proved that. But a 6'2" - 6'3" girl with hops, a jumper, and a handle is tough match up for any mid-major (either your quick players are to short or your big players are to slow) and in girls basketball thats the seperating stick from good to elite teams.
just imagine BTJ at 6'3"

its probably a good thing for her that she transferred. she just wasn't getting the job done here. but i wish her the best. at least she doesn't have to change colors...

Good luck to Brittane Neely at JCSU! I'll be tracking her stats this year.
