I'm not complaining. They've missed conditioning mostly. Lee is and Berry now are installing the real meat now that the first contact is out of the way so the timing is good. Anytime you can get those kids that signed elsewhere but got their releases or those late D-I transfers in and most eveyone in this league is getting them now anyway, you probably going to find five or six guys that can really help you out a lot at least by the third or fourth game. Any idea about names but more importantly any that can help us this year?

Isn't this a normal occurrence? The number is signficantly larger than usual, but this is generally the non-scholarship, preferred walk-ons, etc.

I got a call from a fellow Aggie today, he stated that Dominique Drake has stated on his facebook page that he is transferring from A&T because the football program is unorganized, this kid was offered a scholarship long before many others and somehow managed to miss out. I know the family and from what I knew A&T was the only 4 year scholly on the table to him. He chose to come in as a prefered walkon and according to coach Raggs has passed his physical and yet has not been to practice, It kind of stung me to hear that he has gone on facebook and spoken against family like that while he's enrolled and on campus! again I haven't read this myself I received a call from someone who supposedly read it?

Are you absolutely sure about this info??? If it is true or false, I have not seen any crocodile tears being shed on campus or at practice.

I spoke with his brother today, he gave me some insight on Dominique's frustration. "He (Dominique) had arrived for the physical on Last week (Monday) ad his clearinghouse paperwork had not been cleared. Dominique was told to wait for a phone call. the call came they showed on a Tuesday for the physical the doctor was not there, the physical was completed this Monday then he was told to show up for his equipment, this Tuesday he showed and his name was not on the list to get equipment, coaches where in a meeting or whatever and could not be contacted". Instead of being patient he blanked. FRESHMEN BLUES!

Clarify something for me. This is the end of the second week of classes. Explain to me, if possible, what caused the delay on the clearinghouse paperwork?? Why him, when all the other players were participating in fall practice?? Apparently, their paperwork was in order.

Receiving late qualifying scores in spring and the kid or his rep getting the documentation from his school and filling out the paperwork late to the Clearing house A&T. HS signees really need to have all their information in to the NCAA by the end of the school year so if they qualify there's no lag time.
Either way he would have been red shiorted like the other three backs that signed or decided to come in as a preferred walk-on over the summer.
