That was the best band performance I have ever seen by any band on earth, ever. Even with the skit I didn't understand at all (showing my age) that was absolutely fantabulous.
Kudos to Ruff! My check is in the mail (almost).

I concur. That was the single greatest halftime show I have ever witnessed from any band..let alone A&T.
Funny thing is, I spoke with Brandmaste later that night and he said he wasn't too fond of it.
Oh well, I guess I will just never understand.

The band was outstanding this past weekend. the little breakdown at the beginning of the show was a breath of fresh air and most of us in the old folks section thoroughly enjoyed it. Dr. Ruff, keep it coming!!

That was the best band performance I've seen from A&T in many a year. The breakdown at the beginning set it off. There was a little lull, but the Kanye West "Workout" skit was a strong ending to a great show.
Morgan's half-time performance coupled with that blazing sun almost put my a$$ to sleep.

I concur also! The show had surprise, good music, good formation(train w/smoke), a nice gimmick, Golden Delight ;D, and overall effect.
I loved it!!

Well, dangit, I enjoyed the performance, too. When they started doing those old school dances, I lost it. That kid n' play kick step was all that!
I didn't understand that last part when the people came out looking all slummy, but I chalk that up to being an old fogey. I don't know much about Kanye West.
Hell, I oughta send 'em a check, too. What's the address?

Man!!!! I thought it was just me, after seeing how quiet it was during their perfomance. I kept telling my wife, wow what a show. They (B&GMM) were fantastic!!!

Oh well, I guess I will just never understand. I enjoyed the halftime show. I thought it was very good, and I liked the fact that they broke it down from the jump, and had a creative gimmick at the end. The tae bo at the end killed me! I just thought they sounded like garbage in the stands after the game. I have never heard them sound as sloppy as they did. They still had the power, but the phrasing wasnt together at all. Morgan had a cleaner sound in the stands (beleive it or not). On the field, Morgan got monkey stomped. Their show had no creativity or difficulty when it comes to formations, and their sound was very average. I think they spend most of their time working on music for the stands, because the show they did could be learned in about 15 minutes of practice time.

Morgan had a cleaner sound in the stands (beleive it or not). I have to disagree with that one. The balance and musicianship in "America" alone were awesome. It threw me off bc I never wouldve thought that they would open 5th-quarter play with such finesse (sp?). I was sorta dissapointed that they let Morgan come up in our house and play our top powersongs, and we didnt even bother to send the back at 'em. There were multiple opprtunities like to copletely embarass them, and we let each one pass by. I think we showed too much mercy in that arena. Yall KNOW if we wouldve gone to FAMU and played Elsa's procession, they would've sent it right back and made a spectacle of us. Likewise, everybody should know better than to come up in Aggie Stadium and play "Can U Feel It". Morgan wasn't balanced in my opinion. the low brass was heavy, and the whole band seemed to stick to block chords (much like the old A&T except without as much power). Plus, the chords lacked color, making them seem mundane. Listening to Morgan and then listening to A&T can be likened to listening to a mini boom-box in your kitchen and then experiencing stereophonic surround sound in a theater. Not to take away from morgan, because they were good. They just pale in comparison in my opinion.

I can't get the tune out of my head......
'people all over the world, join hands, start a love train, love train'
It was the best homecoming show that I've ever seen or marched in at A&T.
