I preface my comments by saying that I am not a dog lover. I've never had a dog and probably never will.
OK, what Vick did was wrong and I understand that. But these people that still want more blood are killing me right now. This man has lost more than most of us will EVER gain in endorsements etc. He did more prison time for this crime than what most people get for it. He's currently going through 4 foreclosures and still has bankruptcy procedures coming up.
What else to the activists want? Why does he have to "prove" he's remorseful? I actually view anyone that is still coming down on the guy more harshly than I ever viewed Vick.
As long as the Catholic church have these preists walking the streets that have molested HUNDREDS of little boys across the nation....................then I'm not trying to hear nothing bad about Mike Vick.
What do you think?

Vick strikes me as an incredibly dumb person, but he has paid his debt for the dogfighting crimes.
Once he clears up the bankruptcy procedures he should be free to do whatever he wants in life - playing in the NFL included.

And why does everyone think he has to play a position other than QB? Vick is probably better that half the QB's in the NFL right now, especially with teams running that new spread offence!

Gotta agree bigboy. There aren't 32 quarterbacks in the league right now better than Mike Vick......even if he did do a bid. I just can't understand the hypocrisy involved with this just all over the love of freakin dogs! The league is full of dope dealers, users, wife beaters, adulterers, and drinkers, but Vick is a problem because he paid his debt to society for an obviously dumb mistake. And don't forget, Vick didn't get convicted for standing in the pit and fighting the dogs.....he got convicted for financing the operation across state lines. This story kills me.

I could not agree more! Their are brother's that have gotten about the same amount of time in jail for killing another brother on the streets. The Peta people consider a dogs life more significant than some human lives (especially that of a young black man). My opinon!!

Don't be surprised to see him show up as a QB in Dallas, Denver, or Kansas City.

y'all know good and darn well that many folks treat their pets, esp dogs and cats, better than they treat family members. the fact he had a hand in killing some of the Glass Joe's makes him public enema #1. for me, i'm all for letting the guy back since he served his time, like many have already posted. the only problem is those rich owners won't want the publicity that comes with signing him, fearing they'd be losing some of those precious millions from folks not showing up to the games and the folks staging protests outside the stadium (and maybe their own homes).

I still don't understand why Vick and his boys were torturing the dogs that lost. That was kinda sick.
I don't really feel sorry for him because he seems to be about as dumb as I am brilliant. But he still deserves the right to play in the NFL.

what made him really dumb was trying to lie his way out of it, thinking his fam was gonna protect him ("I don't ever go to that house. That's my cousins house."). but Q turned state's witness and ratted his a$$ out.

Yeah, any owner that thinks like that is probably an owner that has never won anything. A winning team will pick Vick up because their fan base has confidence in management's decisions. If the Patriots pick Vick up, it will be looked at as a great move for a cheap amount of money. If the Bengals do it, it will be looked at as the dumbest mistake in the history of the franchise. The bottom line is that anybody against Mike Vick right now is a low life and truly doesn't believe in the American system. I don't care if they think Fido is a part of the family or not. If they really believe in their cause, then I want to see them protesting at the construction job too. Don't just show up when he makes it back to the big stage.

People still want blood. A cop can kill a black man on camera and get more public support than Vick can right now. That's outrageous.
