Carolina will beat Kentucky like a rented mule......again. Oh yeah John Wall is a fraud, no shot after 15 feet. He's strictly a dribble penetrator. Kid has hops but a long way from being a draft pick. Wall a fraud?! Thats the most ridiculous comment I've ever heard out of you AggieOne. I seen the kid play up close about 8 or 9 times. I seen him hit 3 after 3 because teams fear his athletic ability so much that they drift waaay back beneath the 3. Ask Duke's Ryan Kelly what happened when they(Ravenscroft) tried to fall back in the paint. Not only did he drain about four 3's on them, but he still got the lane penetration and about 4 EXPLOSIVE dunks after they started coming out near the 3. Not to mention he destroyed Larry Drew when they met one on one Wall's junior year over at the Glaxo tournament.

Kentucky has the best recruiting class in the nation, their 2 best players (both NBA prospects) returning, and a Hall of Fame coach. How in the heck can you say that UNC will "beat the snot" out of them after losing 4 players (who are your 4 top scorers) to the NBA and having poor point guard play (Drew). Even though the Jersey kid is a combo guard and will likely end up playing the point.........how can you say that? Maybe win, but "beat the snot"? And why should anyone "trust you" on Drew? lol We saw him just like you did and he's garbage. There are 3-4 freshman point guards that are better than Drew right now, and for the record..............Kentucky has 2 of them. lol carolina has thompson (6-8), zeller (7-0), and davis (6-10) returning next year. plus new recruit john henson (6-10) can handle the ball like a guard and jump out of the gym! plus new "twin" recruits david and travis wear are both 6-10 and both are mcdonald's all americans! and carolina also has two new guard recruits who are amongst the top in the country in dexter strickland (6-3) who is also a mcdonald's all american and leslie mcdonald (6-4) who's another top guard! roy williams' players "always" improve over the summer. let me repeat, "always"! carolina has a blend of very experienced players, "overwhelming size", and youth! they will "STOMP" the shiggidy outta kentucky who's best players will be freshmen...

might i add that henson is rated one of the top "3" high school players in the country and of course, he was a mcdonald's all american... the tarheels may not be favored to repeat, but they will definitely contend for another national championship. ole roy has an nba sized team most of which will play in the nba some day. that's why no one in chapel hill is panicing over lawson, ellington, hansbrough, and green going to the nba. and just wait until you see henson!! and i'd be willing to bet my house that drew will be significantly improved next year. plus, they got ginyard who can also run the point and has always been the team's best defender. the heels ain't got jack to worry about! roy probably could have signed wall if he wanted to because its widely known that wall has always been a big tarheel fan. but there's two reasons why roy didn't go after wall. the main reason is that wall's aau coach and roy have never gotten along. they've bumped heads over the years. the other reason is that roy already had the number 1 ranked class in the country at the time and could afford to pass on wall. if he wanted to, roy could insert a lineup of 7-0, 6-10, and 6-10 on the front line and all 3 would be mcdonald's all americans! he could then put another 6-10 mcdonald's all american at the 2 and ginyard at the 1. everybody in that lineup except ginyard are "guaranteed" nba players! and don't you dare think that henson couldn't play the 2. if magic can play the point, henson could definitely play the 2. he not only has the skills and quickness to do it, he has the skills and quickness to do it well...

There's only 1 reason why Wall wasn't signed and everybody knows it. His camp had very specific and very illegal requests for him to sign.

Henson will not, I repeat not play the 2 at any time during the season. You have Giinyard plus the 2 kids coming in . Henson will be Graves backup and then might take over the SF role toward the end of the year
