Groove, I have to yield to someone else on that question who knows the tiebreakers.

To the Aggie men, this was a good year! Congrats. I think that every-one will be afraid of a potential hot A&T team during the tourny...

This has been a pleasing season for fans. This is Eaves first winning season. It would have been great, if the team could have won their last two games. To me each one of those games was equally as important. Instead, they lost both which is a momentum killer going into the tournament. We can only hope that they can overcome this bump in the road and regain their winning ways.
Morgan beat Coppin 68-62, which moves Coppin below A&T in the standings. If we are seeded second or third, it may not matter that much because we have beaten and lost to most of the teams below us in the standings. With that being said, we have a 50-50 shot at beating anyone of those teams. May the gods be with us.

Groove, I have to yield to someone else on that question who knows the tiebreakers. I know the first tiebreaker they use is margin of victory, but its so confusing. There are some locks for spots in the tourny already though. We know Morgan St. is #1, SCSU is #2, Norfolk St. is #3, Hampton is #7 and UMES is #11. 4-6 is going to consist of Us, Bethune-Cookman, and Coppin St. 8-10 is going to be Howard, Del. St., and FAMU. The tough part is that we hold the tiebreaker over Bethune, Coppin holds the tiebreaker over us, Bethune holds the tiebreaker over Coppin. As far as 8-10, FAMU holds the tiebreaker over Howard, Howard holds the tiebreaker over Delaware St., and Delaware St. holds the tiebreaker over FAMU. I'm going to take a stab at the seedings for the tourny. 1)Morgan St. 2)SCSU 3)Norfolk St. 4)NC A&T 5)Bethune-Cookman 6)Coppin St. 7)Hampton 8)Howard 9)Delaware St. 10)FAMU 11)UMES Thats just my guess, we'll just have to wait and see. If this is true that means we'll be playing Bethune-Cookman with the winner most likely getting Morgan St.

Even at #4, our situation as far as wins and losses to those below us remains pretty much the same. We lost a game to four of the teams and beat the remaining three without a loss. So A&T's chances of getting past the first round are pretty good. Just disappointed that the team could not close out the season strong going into the tourney.

D@mn. That's a tough draw for this team. Also, beware of Hampton laying in the cut.

Well, its time for the Aggies to look forward, not backwards but they must understand that the book is out on them that they are soft. Coppin will play the Aggies the same way Norfolk State did last night, rough. Coppin will push, pull, grab, throw a forearm and do whatever it takes to get to the 'hole' and get after the ball so A&T must be able to push through that type of rough play.
As bad as the Aggies looked during stretches of the game , the game was still close until late in the second half. If the Aggies would have hit their free throws the game would have been tight untill the end of the game.
The Aggies could not hold onto the ball last night. It was as if the team was hit with a 'bug' of the "fumble-itis". Norfolk State were quicker most of the night, they are leapers and they are quick jumpers. It was 3 or 4 times in the 1st half that NSU were able to get their own free throw misses around the basket.
NSU's Deloatch is a tough, tough player. He can handle the ball, he is quick, can jump. He constantly drives hard to the goal and is a quick leaper. I counted about four times, Deloatch take close jump shots and then quickly leaped to get his own rebound before the Aggies could jump to get the rebound. This guy is listed as a senior but he has another year!!
NSU BB team has athletes and they have a "baller".
